Very courteous staff at check in. Everything was dealt with in a pleasant, professional manner. The room was spacious and comfortable, with the expected amenities available. There is an electronic safe in the room, which was very handy. Breakfast was plentiful and you had choices from cereals to fruits to a cooked breakfast, but can get extremely busy. I have no complaints.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Ibis Styles MacPherson. Had a room with a good view. But three things could be improved; First, I had body rashes after sleeping on your bedsheets. Maybe they were either unclean or my body was just sensitive. Secondly: the breakfast selection. I found that the second day I stayed there I got the same food. Maybe some variety would be great. And lastly, your guest laundry area. I tried to wash my clothes one day, and the machine swallowed my $6 and couldn’t work and I couldn’t even get a refund. Very disappointed. Apart from that, it was a good stay. Keep up the good work!

wasn't planned to stay with Ibis but due to F1 season coming weekend budget meets this hotel only among in Accor Hotel. overall satisfied with an excellent organization for VIP members. Especially Shelley? in Front desk (Assis manager?) or Manager was nice.

First impression upon checking in was not impressive at all. An Indian lady that goes by the name of Monika if I spelt it correctly did the necessary paperwork required for my check in. Her understanding of other nationalities accent badly needs improvement as I spent most of my time repeating myself unless of course she’s solely in charge for Indian guests only. The duration taken for the whole process (room key) is questionable as i spend around half hour at the lobby waiting, mind you other than myself, she entertained another guest that’s checking out as to which the manner she handled it is disrespectful as the guest just cut in which I expected her to inform the guy that I’m ahead in the queue & that he’s to wait or that she be assertive & in control. What’s more appalling is she then entertained him without 1st informing me as to whether she can clear him 1st or at the very least to tell me to wait at the seats (sofa) nearby? Towards the end, I told her that I wanted late check out which she acknowledged but never did any transaction on this. Again, I have to further wait & repeat myself in reminding her. Either her attention to details is bad or perhaps in her case is her difficulties understanding other nationalities accent. The following day, I ordered food to go during lunch. The wait took another half hour but the staff were mindful enough to apologise & explain although I do think the waiting period can definitely be improved. That is all from me, please take these remarks constructively & I do hope to have a better experience if I should return there. Thank you & my sincere apologies if the feedback given should offend anyone.

I was only in Singapore as I had standby tickets from Australia to the UK and my flights were full. The hotel was very comfortable, I had a quiet room with a good view. The restaurant on level 4 was excellent- tasty hot food and not expensive.

The state of the hotel is very disappointing. I’ve stayed in many Ibis Hotels, Styles and Budget as well, this was one of the worst. The room is very small, with little space to move. There were black marks on the wall. The toilet door wouldn’t stay in place and would swing open. The furniture seemed extremely cheap. The lobby is small and overcrowded at times. It almost feels as if you’re at a bus station. I know this is not a 5 star hotel but I’ve stayed at Ibis styles before that were exceptionally better than this. Then there is the price; I paid about US $80 for the night. That’s way too much for this hotel. I know it’s Singapore and the hotel is busy, but $80 is way too much. I don’t feel I got any value for my $80. The one positive was the dedicated staff member for LeClubAccor Members. She was very friendly, welcoming, and attentive.

Staff was friendly and also provided all the services very efficiently even they provided early checkin also but rooms were too much small to occupy guests and luggage comfortably. You have provided all the amenities in the room but in such a small area it's really tough to use them comfortably.

I have stayed in this facility about 20 times. This hotel has peculiar housekeeping practices.1 I went out of the room for a short while and as the workers were cleaning the aircon ducting, I told the staff NOT to do it that day. Upon my return 5 minutes later, they open my room an were cleaning the aircon ducts. Hotel GM replied that they would investigate and I heard no more about it.2 This most recent stay was the same. The moment I stepped into the room, staff wanted to clean the sofa. I said please do it when I was not around. Immediately the staff knocked at the door opposite and asked the guests there the same thing: clean the sofa!3 Rather forgetful to give chit for welcome drink a few time.4 Service varies with counter staff and no particular reception for the Club queue.

« Good value for money but many things could be better »

Rooms are comfortable, something in the rooms are not working like the blinds and towels are sometimes very old. Noise insulation is not so good as well. Towels sometimes already have strings coming out from the side. Breakfast used to be better before they changed the menu. Otherwise service is good, stuff is friendly, convenient location to find food, getting taxi is ok (need to call in), many tourists group.

The receptionists had me wait 45 minutes in line. They did not acknowledge anyone in line. The Indian lady, her name started with an S. Did not give me a Standard Queen room. I asked for a quiet room on a higher floor. She said they had none available. So she gave me a room on the forth floor. I’m not sure what kind of floor plan she gave me but it was not a Standard Queen Size room. It looked nothing like the pictures on my intinary which I printed from the website. I couldn’t even situate my luggage to where I could comfortably open it. I had to shimmy my way around the bed and I had to hang my clothes on top of the beverage station. After being in the room for 15 minutes I went downstairs to get another room. I was given a room on the eighth floor which was a Standard Queen size room. Why couldn’t she have given me this room before? Or had me wait a little more to accommodate me? Also, why couldn’t the receptionists take a minute to greet and acknowledge the guest when coming in? The breakfast needs some attention. The eggs were watery, the bread station needs more tongs, people were picking things up with bare hands! For $15 it’s not worth it! Maybe think of a more global approach to breakfast. Have taste testing menus. See what works and what does not.

The basic cleanliness and comfort for a short stay was ok but there wasn't a lot of service available like for baggage help and amenities. The staff were courteous but we didn't feel the usual warmth that we noted in the other Accor hotels.

It was not up to par as a Gold Member. You typed my name wrong in the welcome letter, and as far as late check-out was concerned, I was only offered an additional 1 hour whereas in the letter it said up to 5pm. No elaboration/explanation was provided. Good point was that the front desk kept an eye on my wallet when I left it there during check-out. Probably would consider other options before returning.

Check-in took too long. Need to request for my Welcome Letter. Housekeeping threw out my shoe bag along with welcome drink voucher. I had a new drink voucher issued by the Accor staff but to date there has not been any updates on my shoe bag. Little variety to the breakfast buffet (day to day).

Hello, I'm S. L. who stayed in Ibis Style in Singapore for 5 days, let me share my 1st experience with you. First of all, in my opinion, the staff who we checked in was very sensible because when we arrived early in the morning she directly checked us in without any early checkin charge due to travelling with a 15month baby. However, the 1st room that we checked in was full of cigarette smell, as nonsmoking family with a baby could not stand for a minute. Therefore, we rang the main desk and the staff quickly looked for other available room for us. Unfortunately, there were any other room available with window, but we had have no other choice not to accepted it. Secondly, please send our best regard to your dining area staff, they are such customer oriented people. We kept on waking up late in the morning because there were no window in the room so we couldn't tell the time (sorry it's just a good excuse of our laziness haha) so we nearly missed our breakfast on the 2nd day, but your staff quickly grabbed a few dishes and put food on the plates even though the dining area was half way through to cleaning time... and she said 'Baby needs to eat!' I found what she did was impressive. If she just said 'Sorry, the breakfast buffet is closed.' as what it was, her work would be a lot easier. However, she put her guests on the 1st priority rather than making her job easier. Shame on me didn't remember her name, but she has a 'tikka (Indian dot) on her'. But, as I said, generally, all the dining area staff were fabulous :) Lastly, we'd love to clap to the Malay gentleman Barista on the 1st floor, the chocolate muffins were just as good as any other fancy coffee shop and the gentleman was very friendly and kind :) We basically went the 1st floor cafe every single day, well, sometimes twice a day too :) To sum up, our 1st experience with Ibis Style in Singapore was magnificent. Even the room condition was bit disappointing, customer service from all the staff made us forget about it. Great work and thank you so much for creating us great memory :)
