Only a short stay. Very friendly person at the reception and he was very helpfull. Due to a late arrival of a colleague , he has organised a late hour dinner for the restaurant and the food was very good. 1 point of improvement is to have a mini-desk at the room for your laptop. I can not make skypecall in an open space at the hotel due to private reasons.

« Inconvenient restaurant billing »

It’s an inconvenience that the restaurant IN THE HOTEL doesn’t accept billing to your room. The reason given by restaurant staff was that there were separate businesses (hotel and restaurant) but it makes no sense that being the only restaurant in the area, they don’t have an agreement with the hotel to charge food to the rooms.

« Exactly as expected! »

Friendly staff welcomed us, handed over keycard (had checked in on-line) and provided anextra pillow without any fuss. We would have scored a 10 if there was at least one British channel on the TV (BBC World?) and even CNN was not available on our second night.

The hotel is warm and comfortable. The staff very kind and hospitable. It is very pleasant that there is the possibility of self-making a tea, a coffee or an herbal tea and having a croissant at any time of day or night, at no extra cost.

Nice setting, clean, friendly, good bed, reasonable breakfast. But the room design let us bang our heads on a 45 degree "wall" and the radiator played up (noisy, though intermittently).
