My wife and I stayed at Pullman Sydney Airport hotel for the second time in ten days. Our first was after arriving from hobart and recently before departing Sydney. Consistency of performance is important and on both occasions this hotel was superb. Highly recommended when travelling through Sydney

Extremely welcoming, very professional staff, great room and a bath to die for! I did find the bar seating area rather sterile and I missed sitting in a comfy lounge area with a glass of wine checking emails at the end of a busy day. The bar staff were amazing though. I also found the open bathroom very odd and would prefer a closed room. I definitely would not be visiting with a partner - that would be way to much sharing of personal space. Stepping straight from the shower to the general space with no privacy, however this time I was a single business traveler so it was OK.

The experience of staying at the Pullman was hassle free, relaxing & convenient. The staff were amazing. They were friendly & professional. The service was outstanding. The decor was funky, quirky & fun. The room was modern, extremely well maintained, & beyond comfortable. We only stayed overnight after a return flight from overseas. I wish we had stayed a few extra days.

Staying at Pullman is always much better than the out of date Novotel Brighton le Sands. The staff at Novotel are very poorly trained and/or do not care about anything. In contrast the staff at Pullman are exceptional in almost everyway.

« Very good service. Room airconditioning let down my experience - room freezing and could not be fixed. »

Great service from doorman with car park card on arrival. Check-in/out very good. Lovely staff. The air conditoning was looked at 3 times on first night and once on second night. I was given a portable heater to heat the room. I was offered another room on the last night but it was too late and too much trouble to change at that time. Staff were very good trying to resolve the matter. The water in the room tasted strange too - even when boiled. Water appeared cloudy coming out of the cold tap.

As we were transiting in Sydney for one night and I’m an accor member, we decided to stay at Pullman Sydney Airport. From the time we arrived, it was nothing but great service. The concierge was very friendly and helpful. He directed us to the check in desk where Sharon checked us in. We arrived a bit early but Sharon was happy to check us in early and was not a big deal. She explained everything to us. The room was very good, well presented and comfortable. Bed was comfy too. We also had a drink at Mobius at night and Maximilian was great. He was very nice and friendly. Check out went smoothly too. Overall we had a great stay and will be back for sure.

« Great rooms, layout and hotel facilities - Asian female receptioninst and her supervisor probably worst, rude and curt I have experienced in over a decade of staying at Accor properties from Cairns to Hobart. »

See above. All good. Issue on check-in. Needed to ensure room had a suitable desk for some urgent work. I was assured that the room had a bath (female Asian receptionist). Twice clarified that I did not need a bath but a suitable desk for work - clearly misunderstood. The female Asian supervisor stepped forward and curtly said 'All rooms have a suitable desk!' Endeavoured to politely explain that I need to do paperwork, was a Gold nearly Platinum Accor member and if any rooms were available with a larger desk that would be greatly appreciated. Again, given the same rude, curt wording response that 'all rooms have a suitable desk'. Asked if possible if I could check - she refused to allow me to do so. Asked for possible room upgrade - stated 'No! your room is adequate for you!'. Identified hostile interaction by supervisor - so politely left and went to room. Desk was not adequate as I required to spread out papers. Worked continuously then returned to bar restaurant area - intended to obtain two complimentary drinks with pink coloured vouchers. Approached same supervisor and mentioned only one drink card and she stated curtly 'That is all you are getting Sir!'. Mentioned that in all other Accor properties on east coast of Australia that normally provide two or as a good will gesture (I am often in a rush they will provide a second … sometimes get a coffee or drink late depending upon business activity). Supervisor again curtly stated 'Well YOU will never get a second card at this hotel!'. Never had a similar negative experience in 10 x yrs staying with your hotel group.
