EXCELLENT BEDS. Such a good sleep. I cannot stress how much I loved that mattress. It was divine. Staff were great! Pool side drinks could be improved. Not a lot of choice if you don't drink beer and wine. Why is the shower see through into the bedroom?!

Room flooring wasn't really clean. There was ants in my RM 417. Breakfast place, "exchange" was not clean. Chairs were stained and with food crumbs. Floor was littered with small pieces of food. Ants at waffle and ice-cream area...

Fast check in service was great. Extra bed was good enough and I liked the bed pretty much. However, I was informed that you would prepare some special amenities for my father's birthday but there was nothing. That amenities or whatever it was, I did not ask but you suggested. This is a matter of trust. TV channel for Korean guests was very limited (Arirang is English channel for 24hrs. Korean TV channel needs to be improved). Oh almost I forgot! One more bad thing was that I already paid for an extra person with breakfast, but the staff from food exchange told me that the front said I did not pay for the extra person. He just let me in but I was very upset that I paid it by cash but you did not notify it to the restaurant? I tried to explain to him that I paid it by cash for an extra person and breakfast but he cut me off and then "Look! This paper is given from the front and they wrote down only 2 people available for breakfast". If I were him, I would say "If you paid then there must be miscommunication. Hold on please. Let me check with the front" Rather than his attitude, I was strongly upset by the front desk. Special amenities? I understand that was your kind offer so it doesnt bother me but what about my payment for the breakfast ignored??

The reason I am not rating better it is because of the check in service. Everywhere I go and stay in AccorHotels I usually get an upgrade what I can understand of not having but at this time I not even get the complimentary drink. Neither me or my girlfriend who did the check in before me. The hotel structure is good, new clean. But what really makes difference in Accor is the service. This time disappointing !

The room is nice and newly decorated. The staffs are also very helpful especially when i requested to change room with sofa bed for my daughter. The only part i needed to complain when i was returning room on 2nd days at around 16.30pm and finding out my room yet cleaned up. I had no choice to go down lobby to await almost 1.5 hours since i have nowhere to go anymore. When it's finished cleaning up, i went inside room and saw that the cleaning job was done a bit perfunctorily due to rushing hour as i presume. Anyway, it's still OK for overall rating and not a big deal at all.

I regularly come to Singapore. Usually I stay closer to Orchard Avenue to have access to Mount Elizabeth and shopping. I found the Novotel on Stevens very convenient to reach Orchard with shuttle service offered to and from the hotel. The service was outstanding from reception and housekeeping. The room was very clean and the view was pleasant. I will pack gym clothes and a swimsuit on my next stay.
