« Pathetic experience. »

Reached the hotel at 11PM in the night to check in and that's when to my SHOCK the receptionist told me that they have not received the payment from my agent since I had booked online by doing complete payment for the booking. More to it, my check in time was scheduled to be 12PM in the afternoon but I reached late in the night and had to leave early by 5 AM the next morning. The receptionist told me to contact my agent. If your hotel had not received the payment, it should have been informed to me or to my agent (MakeMyTrip) in the afternoon by call or email before the standard check in time of 12PM. But me and my wife were made to wait for 2 hours at night since we could not get through Make My Trip(from whom we had booked the hotel). The receptionist told me that they have been facing the same problem from Make My Trip since last few bookings. So why haven't you guys stopped taking the bookings from Make My Trip. It was a disastrous management from your end. More to it the receptionist told me to pay in cash for the booking and take a refund from my agent. And guess what, when I told him to write the same on bill that you have received this cash payment with regards to my booking, HE DID NOT KNOW HOW TO WRITE IT IN ENGLISH. WOW. Plus when I told him to make it fast since we are waiting since last 2 hours, he had the audacity to tell me that he is a very busy man and he has a lot of things to do. I thought he was there at the reception to help people check in and check out. Amazing people you hire. Claps.

Although the room was small, it was clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful, friendly and courteous. My only complaint is about the lack of storage. With stays of over 3 nights, most people need to unpack their suitcases but with only a small wardrobe rail and a couple of small shelves there wasn't enough storage space. Also the place for the suitcase was not thought out and was to shallow.

I came here only to sleep before my flight. Front desk reception staff were very friendly. Damla and Another woman ( name starts with B) were so helpful and assisted me with my in room dining order. I appreciate the help with charging my phone and overall hotel is great, I haven’t been in the area around much but the view from my room was great and it was quiet. I like to stay in Accor hotels, not only because I work for brand myself, but also because I feel welcomed in every property I stay and hotel maintain same high standards from one hotel to another.

My stay this time was, beyond the hotel's control, disrupted by another guest who making a phone call with loudspeaker on and talking very loudly to the other party. pointing out to this person that he was disrupting my (as well as other guests) sleep he continued his call. Apart from that my stay was as usual no problems and friendly staff at reception and restaurant. My dinner was good and breakfast gives a good choice with local food items added to the buffet.

Located close to Turkey's largest shipyards site, this hotel is ideal for those who work in the shipping industry. Bus services to get you to your yard every morning and if you are working at Gemak yard, you can walk there to and from the yard in about 15 minutes.

Very good in general, but a couple of points to improve: - Batteries on the safe had gone off and it did not work. Also the safe was loose, it was easy to carry it away defeating the whole purpose of a safe. - The access to the hotel is complicated and not very nice. It should be improved.

I don't have complaints about the room. I stayed only one night and never used room service or any other services that hotel provides. At the check in desk, I waited for a few mins for the personnel to hang up the phone. That was unpleasant.

« French corner in Tuzla »

This hotel has kept all the characters of the French mother company. Almost everything is a all other Ibis hotels in France. It may sound boring, but on the other hand you know that the Ibis standard is waiting for you. Breakfast is Turkish based and it is a lot better than what you would expect in the French hotels. Two items I would like to draw attention from the manager to: 1- the elevator plays a tune when you step into it. Please turn it off, I know it by now and even typing this now, it pops back in my head! 2- The showersystem has a problem. With almost regular intervals, the hot water is interrupted and you get a shot of cold water over your head. Not pleasant. This is a problem I have experienced in my previous visits to this hotel so you cannot say it is a fault in the room in stayed this time.
