It was great experience staying at Mercure Bandung City Centre. Great location, clean room, delicious food, and my son enjoyed swimming at the pool. But we had to wait a bit long for the room to be ready when we checked in (i came to hotel at 2 pm, i got the room at 2.40pm). Overall, my family loved staying at the hotel and will absolutely come back.

« Dissapointed. First and last. »

This is the first time i've been to a hotel and not get greeted when i tried to check in. I would like to be specific to one receptionist, which was "Thia Annisa", who failed to greet her guest with a warm welcome. Every time i asked for something, it took at least 3 calls and 30 minutes plus for the item to arrive. When we first arrived, I asked for a bellboy to help me with my luggage, but the bellboy never came. Once i got into the room, i previously asked for more towels on my request during booking, but never received the towels. Asked the towels by phone and had to call 3/4 times and waited for 30 mins for the towels to arrive. Later on, i needed to borrow plates and bowls, so i rang again. The same thing happened, which I need to rang 4 times and waited for quite some time for the plates and bowl to arrive without any cutleries. Moreover, as a member of the le club accor hotels, i received my voucher for the welcoming drink. I went to the rooftop bar to redeem the drink, where once again, the staff failed to greet the guest. As a hotelier myself, this experience left well extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. Especially with the receptionist "Thia Annisa". After a long drive to get to Bandung, no guests should be handled like the way she handled her guest. Was it because I dressed rather casually by wearing shorts and slippers? Even then she had no right treating her guest the way she treated me. I used to think that becoming le club accor hotel member was very beneficial, and even i started to promote the membership to my family and friends. But now i'm starting to doubt it.

- Food was good, staff was friendly - Stayed in suite but room condition needed more maintenance, eg: sliding door to bathroom easily came out of the bottom track - air freshener / cleaning agent used in the common corridor needs to be re-evaluated. The smell was very overpowering and caused discomfort walking along the corridor - from the 8th floor, i could hear a lot of noise coming from the rooftop bar despite being in my room

Generally I really enjoyed my stay in Mercure. Little down side from my stay was the parking area not large enough. Some cars are scattered over parking lot.

« I enjoyed my stay but need some improvment »

Check in was fast, I got room based on requested before. But I got smelly bathroom. I ask the receptionist to change the room and they change my room also they help me for moving to the new room. The new room much better condition. Staff was really nice. Also they clean my room before 11 AM. So far breakfast was good, since I'm not really well at that time so I couldn't taste my meal so well. The problem is the bathroom door cannot be locked both room and also we can still hear noise from the outside also from the other room. Need to improve this problem because is really effect during my stay

« Overall, it was a good experience. »

On our third day, we forgot to change the privacy status to " please clean the room" as we were rushing to to meet the tour guide at 7.20am. As a result, the room was not clean. This was okay as it was our mistake. However, out two cards were blocked from accessing the room 615 when we returned at about 9pm. This caused a bit of inconvenience. Overall, we were happy to stay at the hotel as the service was good.
