Great hotel in a quite location, good access to LHR airport with shuttle bus and M4, this hotel is not suited to shopping trips, good breakfast and bar,good parking but the car park can get busy later in the evening

Low rise hotel backing onto the A4. Usual Mercure standard room and comfortable bed. Tiny bathroom was clean and well equipped. The additional menu offering two or three courses for a fixed price provided the best meal that I have had in a Mercure hotel. Speedy checkout is always appreciated but final bill by email is still awaited.

The carpet was wet and smelly, the air conditioner filter was filthy. If we had not been so tired and it had not been so late we would have left. The room was not worth the price paid. This was the worst Accor experience we have had.

Overall pleasant stay in the airport hotel. Upon arrival at LHR I did not find the bus stop for hotel shuttle bus (don´t ask any airport staff, they have no idea). Took a cab for 20 pound. Hotel restaurant open till 22:30. Really appreciated that! Room clean, quiet, but nothing special. Would return any time again.

« Good room, great breakfast but a few issues »

Stay was generally good, but unfortunately we encountered a few issues. namely: - The air conditioning was set to 26 degrees, making the room too hot. I managed to work out how to change the default as it kept resetting back to 26 when I left it. Perhaps this could be set to a more reasonable default temperature when changing rooms over as the air con unit was not straightforward to work out. - On our last night, we had to report to Reception on two separate occasions about noise coming from the room above. There was jumping/stamping/loud banging, which was not ideal as we have 2 children aged 6 and 3 staying in our room. The noise went on until nearly midnight and clearly the first warning from Reception was not firm enough as it didn't stop the issue. - We got home to receive a parking fine from Parking Eye, despite registering our car at Reception and paying for parking, which created a job for me having to contest this when I should have been working, which ultimately ate into my personal time when having to make time up at work. Most disappointing part is that I've not had a single apology for any of the above issues - in fact during a call yesterday with the floor manager, there was a tone that the parking issue was somehow my fault (apparently I should have hit confirm twice!!) Disappointing given my status as a Club Accor loyalty member. At this stage, I don't think I will be returning.

hard to get out of heathrow airport and get onto relevant road, Huge party happening when we arrived, noisy and a bit intimidating. Booked queen room given a twin accessibility room. Car park was offered disability bay /part pavement. Seems poor to use a disability bay like this and pay for it.

Check-in was a very slow process. The condition of the hotel past the lobby was a little tired -corridor and woodwork were very scuffed. The room was adequate for one or two nights, the bed was comfortable, but the room was quite cramped -couldn't open the wardrobe doors with the child's bed in the room, so glad we weren't staying long enough to need to unpack! The shower was good, although small, but the bathroom was noisy -water pipes gurgling?? The noise didn't travel into the bedroom if the bathroom door was shut, so it didn't cause a problem, just a bit strange. The air conditioning worked well, the room was a bit stuffy on arrival, but the fan cleared that.

Parking is almost impossible, park spaces and driveway in parking lot are too narrow for a medium car to maneuver. Nice reception and bar area. Clean and comfortable modern room. Lacking on pillow variety. Black mold in the bathroom is uninviting.

Very disappointing. My room was not cleaned. I had put the “do not disturb” sign on the door when I returned from breakfast and removed it when I went out shortly after 2pm. I got back to the hotel shortly before midnight to find my room hadn’t been cleaned. I complained to reception the following morning and they said that the cleaners leave at about 1pm and that I should have called housekeeping so that they could have done it later. at midnight? They then said they would check with housekeeping. I was effectively called a liar as they said that I had the “do not disturb” sign on all day. This was not true.

Arriving at Heathrow after a long flight from Jakarta we were checked in quickly and efficiently. Our room was on the third floor and was well appointed. I was most interested in the bed that was extremely comfortable. After a good night’s sleep we enjoyed the buffet breakfast (the restaurant manager was particularly helpful to us both mornings) and then we sought advice from the front desk to access the train into central London. Due to our onward travel, we chose to stay close to Heathrow and it worked out perfectly. Would definitely stay here again.

A nice welcome and appreciated beig provided an overview of the hotel on our arrival. Room was comfortable and clean. Appreciated the use of the gym and other facilities. Resturant and Bar staff were excellent and met all our needs. Only feedback would be when we rang prior to arrival to ask how best to get to the Hotel we would appreciated some understanding of the cost of taxi as this would have been our preference rather than been instructed to take the bus which took over 2 hours to finally get to the hotel. Overall a pleasant and comfortable stay.

This was our second visit and all went well until midnight when we had to change rooms due to a persistent noise from outside keeping my husband awake..... the receptionist was very helpful and sorted our problem very quickly.
