The dining require hygiene improvement. I was bump into 1 big rat post IFTAR time around 8.30pm crossing from kitchen towards dining table. Food selection also need to improve both during IFTAR and Sahur, try send someone to Marriot and will know the different. The room, at first I was given room 1707 with very heavy smoking odor and triggering my sinus problem. Requested for new room and was given 1519 which was okay finally.

Good location but few issues

The lighting in rooms in general is poor. My eyes were hurting due to the poor lighting- in day time i can open the curtains but night time even with loghts on the room feels dark and dim. I had also an issue with the AC. I set the AC at 20 but the room stayed at 23.5 degrees. So technician came and fixed it then the room became freezing and temperature was stuck at 16 degrees. So called technician again but this time he said he fixed it and it went back to 23.5 degrees again and didnt decrease no matter what setting i used.

Good location and amenities but room filthy

The room was spacious and had a great view but the standard of cleaning is shocking. Coffee spatters on the light switch and wall, dirty smudges on the window, white splatter on the bathroom wall, shower glass looks like it has never been cleaned, dust on the telephone, office chair cakes in grime and dust, used soap behold the toilet, spiderwebs and dust behind the main door. The bedding was clean and the staff I interacted with were very friendly and professional. I recommend raising the standard for cleanliness. I would not want my children in the room I stayed in.
