Hotel interior and exterior are great, staff are very nice & efficient. Location wise, is a little bit misleading, as Nagoya is the city center, one can expect this hotel to be located in city center which is not the case.

The check in was smooth. Please note on the deposit for your stay idr 100,000. (Not stated on the website). The stay was pleasant. Staff was polite. Breakfast - if you are staying a night or 2 it should suffice and it is the same daily. Just a little crowded when it comes to breakfast. Other than that, room was clean. Location is good. Nearby to nagoya mall by cab.... thank you staff for making my stay a pleasant. Sure to recommend.

« Standards might be slipping, still a good place to stay »

I stay at this hotel quite often, since it started. So I am quite familiar with the hotel. The staff, are as usual, great. But I see signs of maintenance issues. It is small things; The coffee in the morning breakfast does not seem strong enough. The tea is weak too. The number of towels in the room are inconsistent. The bedsheets and pillow cases has slight stains. The room I was in, the fridge did not work, the soap dish was missing. There is also something really wrong with the air conditioning system. Sometimes the aircon would stop and revert to "Centrally Controlled" and the room would get rather warm. At least twice I have been woken up in the middle of the night because it was too hot. When I reported it, the maintenance would do something, maybe reset it, and it would be ok again. Occasionally, the food from the restaurant is not palatable; food not heated fully (e.g. lasagne was hot on the outside and cold in the middle, steak was partly raw when ordered Medium, once I had severe stomach flu after consuming the Nasi Campur). It is a pity because the food from the restaurant can some times be very good. Overall, I would still say that the hotel is generally clean. I would still recommend the hotel to friends and family.

No complains on the room except a bit noisy due to motor bike sound as hotel near main street. Breakfast which is . Fried eggs section only manage by 1 person and causes long queue because it is the only items we can eat. The others are either too bland or not hot. Maybe should improve in the BF area.

Check-in was efficient, room cleanliness standard has drop and there was no towel place in the room. Breakfast spread was better than my previous stay. There's long queue at the egg counter should have improve on this area. Air Con was not functioning during midnight.

Stay at Ibis Style Nagoya last weekend. Hotel is nice with friendly staffs but the hotel breakfast service was bad. Food that was served during breakfast was not a lot and the food top up was not fast enough to cater for the morning crowd. Think there are a few mosques around that area where the prayers start as early as 4am.

1. Staff Sandy has very very good customer management skills. Despite having some minor problem of the system not able to capture my booking of queen bed, he have managed it very well and still provide me a queen bedroom. 2. Room 303 Disappointment compare to a year ago when I stepped foot into the hotel. The bathroom has mouldy and unclean floor with hair everywhere. Toilet seat has stains of stools, which should be cleaned off! This is so unacceptable!! 3. Spoiled sofa that look so unpleasant in the room. And can see that it is dirty as well, shouldn't you pay attention to the furniture as well? 4. Toothpaste bubble stain is all over the wall on the right. Its grey wall, the stains are so visible. Your cleaners cant see it? 5. Bath towels, bed linens and pillows have stains too. I really doubt how did this house keeping go on? Are these linens and towels really clean?? Additional, the bolster case looks as if it hasn't been change for a very long time... it is yellowish and a bit darken. It is not obvious for people who are not particular, but not for me. 6. I hope ibis style can improve on all these minor details that are NOT OBVIOUS but for the health and cleanliness of your customers.

« Good but could be better »

Room was nice and overall design is modern and refreshing. Generally meet the expectation when booking ibis style Batam. Staffs are polite and hassle free check in and out. Bed are comfortable and generally room are clean. The downside are the refrigerator in my room are faulty that stay warm all the time. While room service able to provide me bucket of ice, this issue need to be attend. Secondly are the event at the poolside on both evening during my stay, where balloon was place in the pool on evening, make us cancel the plan for swimming. The music is somehow audible in our room which you may want to consider in future to improve. Tv channel was not fully function and remote was out of battery just before we check out. Small issue but hope management to work it out to provide better experience. Room are big but quite a lot of empty spaces that can make good use with, such as adding a bath tub in toilet.
