Very good location close to the subway. Staff really kind and helpful. Spacious room, nice bathroom and beautiful view at the 21st floor. Breakfast at the top floor with a view on Seoul, nice products. I'm a Platinium Accor Holder and i was some very warm attention so thank you. 🙏

This is our 2nd time staying with Ibis Styles Ambassador Myeongdong hotel long term(3-4 weeks). And I have to say, it is just the most comfortable stay you can have while staying. If you want to have a comfortable sleep at night while walking around the city, this is THE PLACE. It is affordable(than the regular Ibis Myeongdong) for being located in Myeongdong which I am guessing because it is across the road from the actual area and situated near Chungmuro. But it is way cleaner, more quiet, and I say in better location because it has both green and orange subway line. We had breakfast at the hotel because of the convenience. But I did miss the variation of menu it had last year. Waffles and fried egg were the game changers for us (because we love eggs) this time. But maybe, not as various as last year but, just one or two dishes could rotate for people who are staying for more than 4 days could be nice.

The stay was awesome. Although improvement on the front desk is highly recommended. Front desk people aren’t that fluent in speaking english. They misinformed us about the breakfast that cones with the booking. But overall this is a good place to stay.

The check in is super smooth and we feel welcome. Staff is attentive and speak very well. The room is good for two person, clean and the Japanese toilet function at it’s best. Bed is just okay and the amenities is complete. We book the room for 4 night stay with breakfast. The breakfast is a real turn down. I am expecting a good breakfast with a mixture of local and international food but sadly the choice is limited. The egg is serve cold and the yolk is everywhere. There is no clear ingredient of the food which need for my Moslem partners. The food is somehow taste like its cooked yesterday and the chicken is not fresh. The pastry is limited to 2 choices besides bread and waffles. Overall, the stay could be better with a good breakfasts to start the day. With the additional price we pay for the breakfast it is not worth it. An additional local taste like korean food could be better. The view from the Level 21 is good tho and we get tax refund for our stay which rarely happen.

Hotel is clean and convenient traveling to anywhere. Staff is over friendly, no matter how busy they were, they will never look away to avoid eye contact with you. English speaking was never difficult. Just name the places that you are planning to go, they will advise and explain to you the hour of traveling and time spending. My hubby drops his wedding ring in the washroom, he approaches the front desk for an assistant. Thank you to Mr. J who help to found his wedding ring in the public washroom.

Had requested for a twin room - but I think you guys ran out of a twin room - given new twin room after 2 nights. Thanks! A/C doesn't work like normal climate control units. According to the staff, ONLY if there's difference of +/-3c of the set temperature from the actual temperature, WILL the A/C switch on and the wind blower work. I find this rather weird, cos if I want my set temperature to be 24, then I will need to set it to 21? For it to work towards, 21? But 21 would be too cold for me and my wife. And when the actual temperature hits 23, the blower would switch off TOTALLY, making the whole room warm and stuffy. After the receptionist came up personally to explain the system, we finally got it, but it was already our last night. Anyway thank you for the kind gesture of dessert in view of our plight with the AC. I wasn't aware of it, for the first 2 nights in my new room, I couldn't sleep without the A/C and thanks be to God the weather outside was cool and I had to open the window so that the temperature would not be a stifling 29c. But there was a down-side, the traffic noise with the occasional noisy car and the morning traffic and cars horning would affect our sleep. Anyway, I'm NOT sure if the guests in my adjoining room (my room was 1409) but i could hear his cough, chats, and even the clank when he put the hanger into the closet. I found the insulation not sufficient especially when they always come back after 12 midnight, that also made rest a tough one. Other than that, the hotel is swell and modern.

The location is near by myeongdong station and also the myeongdong shopping street which is very convenient. The room is clean and comfortable. However, it is a bit disappointing that there is no hairdryer in the room (can rent this for free though). The staffs were very friendly too. The stay, in general, was amazing. Great location, only blocks from the subway. The bed was nice and the room was clean and comfortable. My minor discrepancies would be that the room the toilet is in is very small. Like it's difficult to bend down to sit on the toilet when the door is closed. Also, the deck on top is ONLY for paying bar/restaurant customers. You must purchase food or drinks to sit and look out at the views of the city. I would recommend this hotel for someone looking for an affordable, city center location with easy access to public transportation.

second time staying here and location is good. walking distance to myeongdong. the hotel has a nice rooftop restaurant that gives you view of seoul tower. the reception is friendly and helpful. going to the mrt is around 5 mins walk. overall fuss free place to stay and no complaints.
