I really enjoy myself a lot when I had my welcome drink at the rooftop bar of ibis style ambassador Seoul Myeongdong. The view is very beautiful especially at night. The room is spacious and comfy. Its nearby to the shopping district within walking distance. Going to and from the airport is not a problem, you can use the airport limousine bus. Great value!

« Overall pleasant stay except for a few housekeeping improvements »

Hotel checkin was smooth, Front desk service was polite and spoke good english. We were able to do an slightly early checkin. We would like to feedback the following points to improve the guest experience. Having extra hooks in the room wall , there was only 1 hook at the shower room which is not enough for 2 guests. Housekeeping did not replace the bathrobe after removing it with the towels, this happened for 2 days. The finished birthday platter plate was not removed the next day. The hotel kindly remember my friend's birthday and sent a birthday platter as a nice gesture . This made my friend's stay a memorable one.

Check-in was efficient and Joy was very friendly in checking me in. (If I recall her nametag read Joy). My room 1209 was great, however the shower was rather leaky and after every shower I took the overhead shower will continue dripping water for at least 30 minutes. This was annoying. Breakfast was rather basic in my opinion and could have been better. Instead of the bacon and vegetables being fried together, perhaps they could have been done separately? Also, scrambled eggs and sausages could have been there instead of the tomato chicken, however this tasted nice. Joy was also proactive in offering me a late check out which was really appreciated as I managed to get some work done because of the late check out.
