The food is surprisingly good for a hotel of this sort in a place like this. Staff are friendly but the check out counters not made for large groups checking out at the same time. Rooms are ok, but in need of some refurbishment.

« Very basic rooms, majority of staff unhelpful and rude »

At €190 a night one has the right to expect something more than an absolutely basic room and poorly maintained bathroom, cheap rough towels etc. Staff need a serious shake up — with one exception at reception, all staff were unfriendly, unhelpful, even downright rude. Hotel needs refurbishing and a management needs a major shake up.

A good clean business hotel. Good breakfast choices and very good house keeping. The room was always well presented and clean. As I arrived and left on a weekend, I was disappointed ~I could not use the restaurant in the evenings Sat/Sun but I do understand why only a breakfast is avail on a Sat morning.

« Good value in a convenient, clean and friendly hotel. »

Highlights were nicely refurbished restaurant; much warmer, comfortable and better environment. Good room layout, with reliable wifi; a good business experience. Good machines in gym. Not so good - food quality at dinner 6/10. Breakfast 5/10; very limited choice and old overheated hot food. No free weights in the gym. Good front of house staff.

I had to leave the hotel at 6:30 and there was no possibility to get a breakfast at it is opening at 6:30 and early breakfast is not possible before this time. I was explained it is due to availability of people starting not before than 6:00.

It was very good stay in this hotel as usual. I specially book this hotel when I work in this area. Very good personal, good small fitness with the very good sauna (sauna was really nice during this cold days), good breakfast. I like this hotel and I think I will stay here in the future. Only one small thing, my room was never upgraded due to my platinum status and it is very sad.

« Standard rooms with good breakfast »

On several business trips I stayed at Mercure Maurepas. The room's are ok, no noise from outside. Bathroom fit to my needs, water temperatures are fast on expected level, nice razer mirror. No problems with my back, so bed's are ok as well. The TV might have some more german speaking channels (even DW is in English). A bottle opener would be a good investment. Beside of the room I've like the great breakfast. I need this for a good start into day. So not only sweet cerealien are offered but a good continental mix. Currently the parking situation is limited due to maintenance in the backyard. The blocked spaces are required once the hotel is fully booked. Another hint for invoice addresses. I have to announce each time my company address in Germany. May makes sense to store it on my profile ;-)

Cozy and large bed; room generally reasonable Pretty reach breakfast but missing any vegetables; Staff using their bear hands to fill the trays with "les croissantes" … Far too expensive for what it actually offers

Overall cleanliness of the room wasn't great. Toilet was bleached but hadn't been rinsed away/cleaned. Shower taps were hanging off the wall - it was very difficult to pull the plunger to switch the shower on. Had to use a towel to lever it on. There was no iron facilities in the room - had to ask to borrow one from reception. In a business hotel I'd expect an iron in every room. Finally the AC was set to 15degC in the room on arrival. Probably not necessary at any time of year let alone October! Food in the restaurant was average. Service was good however.
