Superb hotel at the price

Basic facilities but you know that when booking. On arrival we were positively surprised at the quality of those 'basic' faculties! Spotless clean room & bathroom Comfortable spacious beds Hot water with good pressure Parking right infront of the hotel All in all excellent value for money - will definitely consider again when travelling in the area. Thank you!

Stranger had a key to my room

at approx 23:30 while almost asleep a stranger seemed to have a key to my room and walked in. After finding out someone was in the room, I immediately left. When I got to the front desk about 15 minutes later to report the incident there wasn't a response. No one had gone there to tell them, there was already someone in the room and they didn't remember making another key for my room. Meaning that there was still someone who was able to enter my room. Staff didn't seem to be bothered by this and got passive aggressive when told that it wasn't acceptable that strangers were able to enter my room. Lady at the front desk told me she would ask some colleagues and call me within 15 minutes. She never did

People are nice & friendly, room exactly as I expected but when you have the next morning at 08:40 h your breakfast and there is hardly bread, no meat and the only 2 coffee machines are out of order, you make a false start of the day. It was a disappointing experience.

Friendly staff but heating didn't work and staff did try but didn't manage to get it working. We were given extra blankets instead. Confusion initially because we asked for a room with 2 separate beds and there was a double bed and a wardrobe. After going up and down to reception with our luggage (no way to call reception from room) we found there was a foldout bed in the wardrobe. It was awkward to get into as there was little space and I scraped my leg and hit my head during the night getting in and out to use the bathroom. Everything was clean though and otherwise comfortable. Without the heating it was very cold and draughty (airco?) especially when showering.
