All in all perfect stay goo service etc. But one thing needs attention, breakfast, it's not okay that you need to stand in line and awaiting table, early in the morning.

« A very satisfactory stay - all the staff were so helpful and professional. Fine hospitality. »

Portugiese is not our first language, we have not stayed in Lisbon before and my partner is gluten intolerant and thus required a special diet. All staff - went out of their way to ensure that all our needs were met. Mara Jose in Housekeeping was very flexible and kept our room spotless, the Front of House staff were brilliant lead by Joana (could not do enough to help), Food and Beverage staff in the dining room including Pedro, Nuno, Fabio and Tiago made sure that we were able to get gluten free food. Thank you all for your help.

I stayed in a room on floor 7. The room was very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the free coffee, juice, water and pastries that were available all day outside the lifts on the 7th floor. I was given a card to use the light rail when I checked in, and it contained almost 6 Euros- enough for 6 trips! I added credit to the card so that the next person to use it would also have a pleasant surprise. The breakfast buffet was substantial with plenty of choices: eggs, beans, sausage, bread, fruit, cereal and hot oatmeal. The hotel set up a car for me to return to the airport. Overall, the service was very good and I would recommend the Mercure Lisboa Almada.

Everything was ok, cleanness was excellent. But it is very nonsense to wait in a queue for 10 minutes just to have a breakfast. The hotel management need to find a solution for that interesting situation. In addition the heating in room was not working at first night but when we said second day they solved it.

We stayed in a Privelege room which was very comfortable and pretty much what we expected.Breakfast was good but the coffee[from a machine] was almost undrinkable and could really do with improvement.The staff were always very helpful.We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and enjoyed Lisbon in general.

« Overfull at breakfast with Chinese tourists »

The hotel is quite OK but breakfast was terrible. All 4 mornings of my stay the breakfast experience was ruined by Chinese tourists. The firs morning there were not very many but, while seated all around the breakfast room, they were in very loud communication with each other, shouting loudly through the whole room. The other 3 nights there were well over 100, about 4 full touringcars, crowding the breakfast room and other areas. They have no sense of queueing, block paths, take enormous amounts of food from the buffet the moment it arrives (to leave much on their tables untouched), and several were covertly and some even openly taking selfies whilst standing in my vicinity, with me on it. This was the worst ever experience I have had in a hotel in Europe. When I mentioned my displeasure to the reception staff, in particular about photos being taken in the breakfast room of me (and other guest who seemed mostly unaware of it), the staff member seemed to think it was funny and said that indeed the Chinese tourists have quite different manners. I can understand that the hotel wishes to cash in on the Asian visitors market, but either educate them (through the travel organisations) on expected behaviour or create separate breakfast spaces for regular (business) visitors.

Experience was okey during stay, but it was not a good experience before check-in. Hotel has policy to ask for number of credit card on the day before check-in, though Accor official website says otherwise. I clarified my check-in time would be before 18:00 and hotel kept asking for card information. Hotel tried to get card information through email which I believe is a less secure and controllable method. After several rounds of emails, hotel finally advised the card information can also be submitted through Accor official website which should be more secure.

« Excellent service and nice room with lots of amenities »

Very good....only issue we had was the lack of alcoholic beverages. It would have been nice to have a glass of wine or a beer with our dinner. It was a bit of a trek to get to Lisbon centro but once we got our transport cards and tram and ferry costs figured out it was not too bad.
