Went to Marjan Resort for a short family trip. Picked this resort hotel because it's the best one I found.The location was simply amazing. Absolutely loved staying there. Will be back soon.

I book 10 rooms for my family and friends. We actually have to do a group study at the same time spend quality time with Family. It was a short visit but the experience that we have are extra ordinary. My friends are very happy with the service that they have provided, from the Reception guided by Mr. Hassan, from the Aliwan Restaurant and Housekeeping Team... It was an excellent service!!! From Family, friends, couples and Honeymooners, they were amaze of the extra ordinary experience that you gave them. Wash room in main reception have bad smiles and cleaning level too low on it Wash room near the Swming pool have no hand washing soup most of the time. The room very nice cleaned staff are friendly

The hotel is in general good and clean but the not good thing was that there is no sandy beach to swim in. The pools and jacuzzi in the hotel are not clean and have not been changed for a long time.

First I booked through Groupon and I took the Marjan Suite because it is mentioned that it fits for 3 adults and two Kids, we were 3 adults and One Kid 5 years and the other is a baby of Three Months, they insisted while reserving the date to pay for AED 199 for the extra Adult, this is not acceptable at all and as a compensation I requested a Late check out they told me it's upon the availability but we will put your request and when I asked for it next day they told me no as Its the weekend and we may have a lot of bookings, I had the worst experience in this Hotel. and also the beach it was not clean at all, algae everywhere

This was my first experience to visit UAE and started from RAK. We rented a car and drove along all the estates of UAE and also visited Dibba for seeing a friend who is a consultant in the local hospital. on Arrival we had a rather hostile reception. very non co operative receptionist. In spite of paying the four days booking from London before arriving to Marjan Hotel. Yet i was asked to give 80 Darham for UAE tax. I said I will give you later as i have no Durhams in my pocket but she insisted and charged my credit card. Than she asked me to deposit 500 Durham against using bar supply in the fridge of room. I told her that I do not drink alcohol and i will not touch any thing in the fridge but she insisted and charged me 500 durham on credit card and on arguing she told me that she will not charge but hold it and release it on leaving the hotel. Now on leaving the hotel the other receptionist told me that money will come in my account in 2 to 4 weeks time. I said you did not charge then how come it will come 2-4 weeks. she was lost and no answer. Food was nice but some of the food was recycled. I explained every thing to the floor manager and he kindly arranged boiled eggs fresh every morning for me. The hotel walls, ceiling, floor, window frames and curtains need cleaning. so much dust stuck on the ceiling of the breakfast room. very unhygienic also looks dirty. House keeping was good and prompt. The hotel is situated in a very pleasant surrounding and plenty walking area. No RAK maps were available in the hotel. No sight seeing leaflets in the hotel. Or may be staff did not think important to suggest any thing.

Had a 2 days 1 night weekend getaway to marjan island resort and spa. Ilwe had lovely and amazing experience. All the staffs are friendly and accomodating. The superior room is so elegant. We love the views and amenities. And oh the food are simply amazing!

Hotel ambiance is nice, stayed in one bed room number 260, with my child and wife, me and my wife cannot sleep in bed room because of the size of bed and sofa come bed was horrible its really in bad shape please do something about it.
