« great stay for our first time in Marseille »

Nice room, looks very new, very clean, and good location too. this hotel is way nicer than the other mercure hotel even though the other one link directly to the shopping center Marseille city itself is in a bit of mess due to construction, but the hotel is nearby to everywhere, and located not in the "not so graffiti area" of Marseille i would expect to have a water in the room, but no water available, and only two paper cup are available each day, it would be grateful if we can have the water bottle during our stay.

« Perfect location and helpful staff »

We fell in love with Mercure in Angers and joined Accor. They had by far the best breakfast at any hotel—madeleines, cheeses and meats, multiple breads and pastries etc. Your choices weren’t as extensive but were good. Our two rooms on the second floor were handsome and comfortable but quite noisy. We heard can s tante shouting and fighting outside. Your lobby area feels cold and sterile with few places to sit.

« Brand new hotel in central Marseille »

An excellent mid-range hotel, the hotel is right next to the Noailles area. This is a bustling shopping district, with excellent fresh vegetables and shops serving the north African communities and well worth exploring. However, it is pretty raffish, with scores of young men hawking contraband cigarettes among, perhaps, other things. This gives the place a bit of an air of lawlessness and even to people familiar with inner city life, is a bit intimidating at first.

Thought the rooms were lovely and modern. The air conditioning wasn't great The coffee and tea. Proper cups should be provided to save on plastics and waste. And a more pleasant experience. Breakfast isn't value for money. Bar prices seemed very high. I had a large beer at 9 euro. Seemed very expensive compared to the prices on the port. It made me not order another one because of this.

Recently stayed at the Mercure Sorbonne. Apart from the breakfast room which was not pleasant at this hotel the rooms were much better than Marseilles. I do not like bathrooms that open directly into the bedroom.

« An excellent stay in a brand new hotel. »

My stay wasn't the most straight forward due to the fact that my circumstances kept changing with my husband being in hospital. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and understanding. It was great to see friendly faces in reception each time. The rooms I booked were well furnished and the bathrooms had copious supplies of fluffy towels and products. The one meal I had in the restaurant was excellent.
