« Good Location, Nice Breakfast »

Good proximity to shops and Metro exit, breakfast was good however housekeeping can be better especially when come to making the bed. There was a 24 hours store just next to the lobby that provide the convenience needed for the stay.

Horrible, room is hot without aircon. Requested for colder temperature but staff says not possible. Had to borrow a fan. Heard from many guests that it’s too hot too. On the other hand, no daily water provided.

« Good services for affordable price. »

I had been stayed at ibis Styles Osaka Namba once when it opened. For this stay, 2 years later, I am impress with the improvement in staffs' service quality while the accommodation price is the same or lower. The staffs seem getting more familiar with foreigners and work more fluently. Plus, the little welcome snacks and drink is appreciate. However, some room facilities getting old or missed. The bathtub faucet joint is broken and the water leak (not totally bad but please fix it for future guest.) No air purifier in the room (it used to be there when the hotel opened.)

I had experience with Ibis style osaka Namba 3 nights on 31st Oct- 3rd Nov I was enjoyed the warmth welcome from staffs unfortunely, the date I checked in on 31st Oct, the staff did not let me know about breakfast place and time and how to accessible wifi in the hotel during 4 days and 3 nights. The room was quite big if compare to JP rate and the convenience atmosphere but i found the room not clean so much if ibis style standard. I just found on last night, when I took a bath and found some spots on the flush toilet. One more disadvantage is no English channel on television in the hotel no more update local news and hometown country news as well. As hotel in zone of Dontoburi, there is a sound from the atmosphere and I got a room in the corner. I really not tight of sleep all 3 nights. So sad to stay here. Thanks one more things from the hotel, various food on breakfast restaurant but really service late on the weekend start 7:00 I rarely had time to have a breakfast before the day I went back to the airport (fight back at 11:00) . In all summary I am not satified with this stay, hope your hotel will be the same standard like others world wide ibis and accor hotels. Best Regards, Tanaporn B.

We paid additional 13,000 yen for upgrade. Breakfast is okay. First night, housekeeping did not fix the bed. But next 2 nights, it was ok.

We stayed at ibis style osaka for 4 nights. But during our second i think there was a problem with the aircondition of the room, we requested initially to have our room changed but they wouldnt believe it so they sent and electic fan first then it wasnt enough then told us to open the window that has a wording.in the window " open only in case of an emergency", but it wasnt cold enough yet outside because it was still eqrly november. Eventually because of our numerous complain during the night we were transfered.to a bigger room but no one helped us to transfer.

« Conveniently Located near Namba, Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi »

As an Accor Gold member, I was warmly received and have priority queue for breakfast. The staff had been very professional and I had a very pleasant stay. There is also a Seven Eleven conveniently beside it and if you cannot sleep at night, there is a Don Quijote nearby.

« Great location but the room needs some attention »

Staff were generally lovely-especially the breakfast staff. One staff member however, who worked on reception, seemed to annoyed when we asked for a map and some directions- he gave us such a nasty look when we asked. The room was compact- which is normal in Japan and that didn’t bother me. The room wasn’t very clean at all- dust above the bed, stains on the sheets and the walls, and the wood on the table falling off. The room was very hot even with the air conditioning on the coldest setting. Reception said that nothing could be done as the system is centralised (I don’t even know what they meant by that) and that we should open the window (it says in room to only open the window in an emergency) on our last day however, the air conditioning suddenly worked perfectly. Nice selection of food at breakfast and location of hotel is brilliant.

« Great Location, prompt service but small rooms »

We had a little hiccup on our stay. On our first day, the room's air-conditioning system was not working, so your staff had to bring us an electric fan. Fortunately, the problem was fixed the next day when technicians fixed the air conditioning system of the whole floor. If not for this, our stay would have been perfect.

Stay was nice. Place is clean and staff are friendly. Our only concern is the a/c unit which is centralized. it's quite hot at night that we need to open the windows in the room.

« Satisfied, but can be Excellent »

The location was very good, except during wee hours when a drunken Jap or tourist will create chaos then siren will come. In the booking, Bfast is included, however, the F&B Mgr. should put variations on the food. It does not get any fulfillment if you continue to eat the same meals for 8 days. Tho' F&B servants are very accommodating good job! Housekeeping needs basic english at least. Overall, I will come back to this place, this time with my kids :) I hope to see improvements.

« Had issues with experience »

The booking I made was for 2 twin beds- 2 adults and one 8 year old, one room. When we checked the room it had 2 small single beds ( impossible to provide to 3 people ). I discussed the issue with the staff manager at the time and he said I had to pay a 6,000 Yen upgrade. I was not happy with his attitude - he just kept saying that it was the hotels policy. I said that I must speak to the duty manager when he starts at 22:00. I had to pay the 6000 Yen so that we had a room that was in line with my booking. The web site requires refining , so that you cannot book a room for 3 people if there are only 2 small single beds. When I spoke to the duty manager at 22:00, he handled the situation extremely well. A refund of the upgrade of 6000 Yen was received and understood the fault with the website. Please advise me when you have fixed the website problem Philip J.

The Staff working at the Reception desk NEEDS re-training. The first lady (Non Japanese) should NOT be working for ACCOR or in Japan as she lacks Customer engagement and service, I'll be very happy if she is terminated from the position. The second lady (Japanese) needs to know when and how to talk and not to raise her voice at a customer. She backed off when I raised my voice, indicated she was very rude, I think she was some sort of manager, or lack of manager.Good Location, that's the only aspect that saves this hotel. What a shame ACCOR has these pathetic people working at the Hotel.

The biggest issue I have are the team at reception. My first interaction was on 28th October 2018, the Caucasian (Non Japanese) lady working at the desk needs to be re trained or don't bother working for Accor or in japan as she completely lacks warmth or hospitality. I felt she wanted to ignore me so I made the initial contact. I think she doesn't deserve to have a job at all. On the Second interaction, a Japanese lady ( I think she was of high ranked) made sure I could only check-in at 2PM sharp, and slightly raised her voice, but that made me agitated which made me raise my voice and gave her a stern look which made her silent and withdraw, and absolute disgrace. I don't expect much, but being rude to a customer in any form is NOT ACCEPTABLE! Customers pay your salary. I stayed at this hotel because it was conveniently located, but in all my experience with other Accor Brands, none have treated me like this. As I'm a member and loyal, I will always pick a hotel associated with Accor but with this experience I'll be thinking twice! Let's hope when I return to Osaka, the team is not so incompetent.
