« Good transit hotel »

Clean modern hotel next to Casa Voyageurs train station. Very convenient for one night stay as we were coming by train from Marrakech and then taking the train to the airport the next day. Easy to get a quick meal in one of the nearby shops. Tram stop at the square in front if you want to go to other parts of Casablanca. Room & bathroom on the small side but adequate since not spending much time there. Comfortable bed.

The staff was very nice, friendly, and accommodating. I loved my bed, and the hotpot... It really is a jem of a hotel for the price, and proximity to the train. The buffet breakfast was also very good. I would highly recommend this property for the location to the train..

« New definition of Small »

Great location next to train station but I have seen walk in closets bigger than the rooms. That said the rooms were efficient and nice. Great for an overnight stay at the train station. I booked it because we had an early departure for the airport and was told breakfast was available from 4 am on. That was a lie to get us to book, breakfast starts at 6 am. Came out of our room at 5:15 and found power had been cut to elevator and had to walk down very dim stairs to get to lobby. No excuse for not having 24 hour elevator service, they tried to blame it on the electric utility but everything else had power so bs, just cheap. Great hotel for train transfer but avoid for all else. Our bathroom at our riad in Fes was bigger than the whole room

We do also assure you that the elevators were really out of order due to an electrical power cut in the neighborhood and it took longer for them to walk again. Upon arrival my booking was not showing my prepayment and I was requested to pay more. I fully understand the city tax element and paid that but only after explaining I would return shortly - it was insisted that a colleague came up to my room with me for passport details. The man on the desk wanted to appear to be efficient but was overzealous and most disagreeable, resulting in all these issues. He was trying to sort out too many things at once and his approach left me incredibly frustrated. In addition my request for a room location was misunderstood yet had been confirmed by prior email but I accepted the room given. It’s fair to say it was the worst check in experience I have had at an Ibis hotel and I use this brand regularly. More training and a far better attitude is required by this member of staff.

Late arrival so too tired to ask for two beds (as requested), instead of double. Also noisy due possibly to pump over top (5th) floor room. Breakfast OK. Reception excellent. Hotel position close to new train station.

We stayed only for 1 night as we had a late flight, so once we stepped off the train it was very convenient that the hotel was just across the road. The room was modern and very clean. It was odd that there were no english menus in the room and also when we called for room service we were told that this is not available But other than that it was what we needed to reenergize for the next day
