We stayed for a week at Sofitel Kuala Lumpur for a week. The Club Millesime staff were amazing, professional and fruendly. As we stayed there for a while, they staff adjusted to our chilled personalities, which is important for me when staying at hotels. Annabella (hopefully I spelt her name correct) was so professional and helpful, not forgetting a request we made days before.

I organized a golf charity tournament and we picked Sofitel because of its reputation. Service in the breakfast room was terrible - no attention from staff. On the Friday morning we had an early start and no staff available when the breakfast room opened to help with coffee etc The alarm went off at 4am - these things happen but no apology or explanation at check out infact my receptionist did not even know it had happened know about it

Apart from the initial hotel car pick up where the driver was clearly tired and struggling to maintain control of the vehicle, we had a very pleasant stay. Check in was a bit slow, but staff was very friendly and accommodating throughout. We made full use of all the amenities and facilities including the Club lounge. Also appreciated the late check out. Amazing hotel, junior suite with club lounge access was very nice although the club lounge is a disaster. not what i expected a 5 star club lounge to be. A few bits of cheese, bread, basic sushi rolls. The "Hot Food" was actually a tray of cold finger food that was walked around in circles by the staff allowing you to take 1x piece at a time every 10mins. When checking in asked if i could dine for dinner in the club lounge and they assured me there was plenty of hot food choices. Was a rather big let down as we paid extra for the Club access suite and had not eaten all day due to travelling and turned out to be pointless. This needs to be addressed as soon as possible as its quite unacceptable from a 5 star hotel such as Sofitel. We had a couples massage in the SoSpa....i was told the therapists are busy so they needed to change my therapist mid way through my treatment. My partners therapist also stopped for 10mins and walked out leaving her mid massage with a towel over her eyes...this is a big deal when paying SoSpa prices or a 60mins massage....

The stay was average, despite the crap breakfast! Just like many top notch Malaysian hotels, they will always claim breakfast is served from a certain time. But most of the food will not be ready at that time. Waited for roti chanai... no one there to make it. And the recurrent emails after that .. asking me about my stay. In future, I think i will not be giving my email address. It's really annoying. If I want to review this hotel, I can do so at my leisure at many online sites, instead of responding to a hotel misusing your information. Not to mention the location. Next to a ghost mall. And to get to the nearest train station... You can risk your life by walking through a construction site.

Wonderful check-in and check-out experience; overall the hotel staff was friendly, efficient and hospitable. The facilities are great; enjoyed working out at the gym, our company's annual dinner event in the ballroom, and the breakfast (although my colleague thinks RM 85 is a bit steep for the quantity/variety served). The only thing I found disturbing (but strangely funny) was a rather large toenail clipping on the carpet next to the bedroom trash can; housekeeping must have overlooked to vacuum that corner? But the rest of the room was super clean, super comfortable, and I will definitely recommend our business partners/guests to stay here.

Hotel room was clean, well presented and overall very nice. Having stayed in many 5star hotels always with club room access this did not meet expectations, however service from Anabella was extremely good. Evening food lacked variety and was not substantial. The hotel location for tourists was difficult and complimentary shuttle difficult to get seats. Breakfast in kwee zeen was very good. Pool was cold but had great sauna and good gym. Some staff great and others require more training for a 5star hotel.
