One night stay before the next day ferry. Bed was comfortable and reception staff helpful and pleasant. Breakfast suffered as a large tour group in at same time as we were. 2 waitresses were trying hard to keep all food items stocked but struggling.

« Great location, fantastic price »

We arrived by train & the hotel is right by the station. We got there too early for check in but were able to leave our bags & go and explore the town. When we eventually checked in, we had a lovely big room, very quiet, cannot fault it.

Reception & general atmosphere was very cordial. The bedroom was very clean and comfortable but the shower floor was very slippery!.....The television channel listing menu was not up to date. An additional stool/table the suitcase would be useful....The bar was NOT very well stocked! Otherwise very pleasant stay.

Great staff at the reception and the bar at night. Great breakfast, friendly staff in the morning. Clean and quiet rooms. It was my 2nd time at Balmoral and will be back in September or May next year.

Lovely room, very clean and tidy with some great free gifts and drinks. Had a good nights sleep and a good breakfast in morning. Staff were friendly and polite. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to others.

Due to the late arrival of the Condor Ferry we arrived at the Hotel at 23.30hrs. However as an Accor card holder we had checked in om line and at arrival was met with the room cards and a free drink voucher which we enjoyed as a nightcap. Having stayed with Accor hotels amin times for work i understood I had prepaid the room only to be advised in the morning i had to pay due to technical error and now have the frustration of having to check my bank account to see if i have paid twicce.
