« Overnight stopover returning from South of France »

Very good standard of accommodation in a very well appointed room. Request for room requirements catered for at short notice. It was very comfortable and relaxing after a long day's traveling- particularly to sit on our own private balcony, looking out over the pool. A very good start to our onward journey with fresh coffee available in the room. Perfect.

« Nice hotel, very nice staff »

A most pleasant experience from check in to departure, the lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful, as Accor gold she gave us a nice quiet room with a balcony , a welcome note and some macaroons and brownies were in the room, my wife really liked them. I recommend this Mercure, definitely a good one

From the check in to the last day everything was perfect, I would only say that unfortunately Laure at reception was not as flexible as one should be . Laure wanted to charge me for checking out at 1pm instead of 12pm even though I am a silver member. And her approach was a bit arrogant. But everybody else was amazing.

Nous sommes désolés que le service et la prestation n’aient pas été à la hauteur de vos attentes, et nous vous prions d’accepter nos plus sincères excuses. Nous avions en effet facturé la prestation du late check out que vous avez demandé le matin même de votre départ, et avions précisé que nous pouvions accéder à votre demande uniquement jusqu'à 13h, l'hôtel étant complet ce soir là. Lors de votre passage à la réception, vous avez fait part de votre statut Silver et avons donc annulé cette facturation. Nous n'avions effectivement pas l'information indiquant que le late check out ne devait pas être facturé avec votre carte, nous vous prions donc de nous en excuser. Dans l’attente de vous accueillir prochainement, nous vous prions de croire, Madame en l’expression de nos sentiments les meilleurs.

Nice refurbished hotel just outside centre of Castres. Clean and comfortable room. Staff is friendly, but fore all, the restaurant manager is an excellent host. A reel professional. Chapeau!

« Lovely staff and breakfast but we were in a room that was below the standard of the other rooms »

I was a little bit disappointed as I had booked a birthday weekend for my partner and I and the rooms looked lovely online and also I saw inside on me other rooms in the hotel and they were a lot better standard than my room 233. It was old and outdated and also at the far back of the hotel. I had also phoned and said it was a special weekend but even then got the worst room in the hotel

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. We understand the room you were given did not match your expectations and we are sorry for that but our hotel was fully booked on the dates you were staying, therefore we did not have one of the newest rooms available. In room 233 despite the decoration that can seem to you a bit outdated, the comfort is equal in all of of our rooms . We hope you enjoyed your stay with us though, our team gives a lot of importance in welcoming our guests and make them feel "Welcome" or better said "bienvenu". At Mercure, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us.
