one of the most deception hotel experience, reception people are not cute and security people also and they way that you put the mini bar and snacks products it is like a joke, you put several products just to force a sale, a totally kind of deception, but the worst was the reception person (Giancarlo Rivera) he beieved that he is the hotel owner as the same the security Guard named Yimi or something like that, hoping no to back to that kind of servce that you have, the only good thing that you have is the breakfast, because you don't even have air and weather in your rooms, and the noise it was horrible in the nights.

Con respecto al aire acondicionado en las habitaciones efectivamente el hotel no cuenta con ello ; sin embargo para su mayor comodidad en la recepción podrá solicitar calefactores portátiles y ventiladores las 24 horas. Hotel and room were clean (toilet brush and kleenex tissue box I would have appreciated). Staff was friendly and helpful. On Sunday, room was made up quite late and only after I had complained it.

Roon was ok, It is a pity that there are no plugs Next to the bed. Staff very friendly and good service. I highly recommend to book the drivers instead of Uber ir taxis.

The hotel is comfortable, but it’s more a bed and breakfast than a hotel, since the lack of meal service beside breakfast is an important limitation (in spite of having some food available through an “improvised” menu at the bar, that has to be eaten at the lobby and no room service.

« Most unpleasant experience in a Mercore hotel so far »

Unfortunately I had the most unpleasant experience I have had so far in a Mercure Hotel. The receptionist, Alejandro, was by far the most unfriendly and rude person I have ever met in one hotel of this chain. I came to the hotel with one colleague who was accompanying me to do the check in, and he asked for her ID if she wanted to come up to the room, which was not going to happen. At no point did he try to find out if she was the second guest of the room. Then he thoroughly revised my ID documents, asking for multiple documents and asking about my immigration entry to the country, which unfortunately I did not have at the moment since I had to leave my passport at the reception of the conference I was attending that week. After finalizing the process by asking me for reconfirmation of all my personal data (which had never happened to me in any Accor hotel around the world), he asked again for the ID of my colleague in a very rude way. Luckily, my next reservation in Bogota was in a different Mercure hotel, not on this one. I would suggest a reinforcement of customer service basics for this particular person. On Check out I complained with the manager of turn, who offered me excuses for the behavior of the receptionist. This of course softened things a bit, but does not delete my overall poor impression of the unfriendly attention at this place.

Queremos que sepa que nuestra Gerente de Recepción está dando una retroalimentacion al equipo para asegurar el manejo apropiado a estas situaciones. My experience was good, but there is two points that I didn't like. 1 - The first point was I had one reservation to one week, for some reason I paid from Monday to Saturday in advanced and extended two more day at the weekend, at the moment that I did the extension I asked attendant about breakfast if it was included in my reservation, she told me that yes it was. During checkout, attendant informed me that I breakfast was not included and I should to pay for it. I paid but didn't agree. 2 - During the week the breakfast is very good but at the weekend it slowdown the quality a little bit, had one day, I arrived 09:30am to have breakfest and guys from kitchen were removing everything from the table, so if the time goes until 10:00am, everything should be available. The price is the same, so the quality should be the same. 3 - Sometimes even with "Do not disturb in my room" people come in. It was inconvenient, my wife were in the room and one guy want to fix something there, she was alone and don't wanna to share the space with hotel employee. Best, André
