We had a wonderful holiday at your resort. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The concierge department was especially helpful with navigating the island for us, reservations, directions, etc. Also, the cleaning staff was extremely friendly.

« The staff make this place special. »

We love the hotel, its not perfect but the staff make it very special. Everybody seems to go out of their way to look after us. The rooms are now to a better standard and are very comfortable. We don't like using the Palm Terrace for breakfast, the atmosphere and the view isn't as nice and the problem with the birds is just as bad as it was in Taboras, although we have never found the bird's to be that big of problem.

Barbados has always been our preferred summer vacation destination and we have spent many years at the RP as repeat guests. In general, the attraction of returning to the hotel is always down to the wonderful staff that you employ. The hotel, though, is tired, room rates are now more expensive and various points with regards to our recent stay should be mentioned. No Fridge in the rooms and the strange disappearance of the sunbathing pontoon was surprising. We felt the quality of food was better but the absence of breakfast at the Taboras restaurant is such a shame.

Excellent overall service.All the staff were very friendly ,kind and courteous.We were always greeted courteously by all the staff throughout our stay.The manager also greeted and welcomed us warmly. We have stayed at many five star hotels however the Fairmont has proved to be among the best.

The hotel is in a wonderful location. The rooms were wonderful and the staff extremely friendly and courteous, especially front desk staff who helped with arrangements and gave good advice for local amenities and restaurants. Points for improvement from our stay - butler service was irrelevant for us. We asked for one reservation, never heard back and had to book through the front desk. If this is a paid service then make it worthwhile and obvious what can be done - all sun beds were reserved every day before 8am. That does not help a stress free holiday. Avoid people reserving - offering water skiing as part of the water sports would help rather than leaving to others - no evening entertainment meant everyone went out and the hotel was very quiet in the evenings - we received a massive bill shock on the first evening buffet. We should have asked the prices before but it was an extraordinary price for a buffet. Lower prices might encourage more people to stay in the hotel and create some atmosphere

Right from checking in, we were made to feel welcome and knew immediately that staff at the hotel were determined to ensure that we had a great holiday. Pearse helped settle us in our room and almost everyday he would check that we were ok. My husband has mobility and speech issues and the hotel staff couldn’t do enough to make him feel comfortable. The chef, Jenelle made sure that his dietary needs were catered for and made special adaptations to the menu especially for him. The waiting staff were all very patient and wanted to make sure he could eat food that he enjoys. Ryan, by the pool and beach made sure that we had sunloungers that were easily accessible and he checked up on us frequently throughout the day. Because the staff create such a friendly, positive atmosphere, feeling becomes infectious and we couldn’t have met nicer guests. So many people helped me to support my husband into the sea and made sure that he didn’t miss out on enjoying the beautiful, clear blue sea. I would definitely love to come back to the hotel as it really was home from home. We felt that we were amongst friends. Obviously I cannot fail to mention the beautiful gardens at the hotel and we did manage to see the monkeys! We also saw some huge crabs, a stingray, flying fish and lots of birds. The views from the hotel rooms are amazing and look directly onto the calm Caribbean Sea. We had a fabulous time and would highly recommend this hotel! Thank you to all at Fairmont.

Rooms are upscale well equipped with good housekeeping ! Beach front top of the line . Breakfast very disappointing with poor selection and not attractive. Overall the restaurants menus are not attractive and very much “ resort hotel style “ same goes for the “ entertainment “ . The “roast menu “ and the” BBQ Night “ are offering very poor variety . Restaurants value for money is “ no value for very high prices” . Quality of service is high having the team very eager to please , very polite and smiling !! With better f&b the hotel can climb up having the best beach front in the island .

Very relaxed and friendly hotel. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Good facilities, but aspects will need to be updated in the coming years - water sports centre looked tired. I would suggest the exterior of the hotel would present better if it was painted a neutral colour, not its current pink!

From the moment we arrived to this idyllic property and received such a warm reception, we knew we had made the right choice. There are a lot of resort options on Barbados but I can't imagine one that would be better than the Fairmont. Stunning beach, lovely well appointed rooms, spacious patio with comfortable day bed and breathtaking views, friendly and gracious staff, wonderful breakfast...what more can I say. It checked off all my boxes for a 5star experience. A special shoutout to Ryan with his warm genuine smile and engaging personality who introduced himself to us and offered to set up our chairs, take us on a hobyCat sail, teach us to paddle board, etc. Also to Cerena, one of our housekeepers who was so friendly and engaging. We look forward to staying there again if our travel plans include a trip to Barbados. Thanks for making us feel so valued. Debbie R.

« Lovely hotel perfect for a relaxing holiday »

First time at the hotel. Impresssed with the overall standard and excellent position right on a lovely stretch of beach. We had a very relaxing holiday helped along by some good quality staff. Big thanks to Ryan for looking after us with all watersports, Simon and Nicole for always being on hand and the always friendly Sierra. Only negative was unfortunately a poor meal in Taboras for our first meal there. We didn't use it again and dined outside each night.
