Our stay was great. The room was impeccable. Amber Vaughan at the front desk was friendly, gave us great attractions to check out and extremely helpful. Her energy was infectious. She set the tone for our entire stay. Housekeeping was great as well.

« Two quiet and comfortable nights »

The room was clean and spacious with a great view from the 23rd floor. The bed was comfortable, and there was no noise. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only negative thing we noticed was the wear and tear in the elevators, but they did work perfectly.

It was awesome. Helpful staff. Only complaint is your toilets are weird. Like bad weird. The whole place was wonderful but I felt like I was a using a public toilet in my room.

Lobby, bar and common areas were enjoyable and easy to find. The room was very clean. The only complaint I have is some of the stations on your cable tv had the video and audio continually skipping.

We really enjoyed our time at the Fairmont Dallas. We enjoy frequently visiting around the US and Canada and have come to expect this level of service. The restaurant was perfect. The only criticism would be the bathrooms/showers could use a remodel.

Everything was fine, but overpriced for what it was. I understand that with a large conference in town, there was a large demand for accommodations, but gouging the travellers is no way to generate repeat business.

I must first comment on the bad. I checked into my room and took a shower. As soon as the floor of the bathtub became wet, it got very slippery. Perhaps there was some dried soap on the surface that remained from the cleaning that Housekeeping performed before my arrival. The tub floor is slanted so that water will run toward the drain. Unfortunately, my feet slid in that direction and I fell. I bruised myself on my left side as I hit the wall of the bathtub. I made a report to Loss Prevention and provided a couple photos of my bruises. Aside from that, I was fine. Housekeeping provided me with a rubber mat for the tub for the remainder of my stay. The hotel was very nice overall. The staff at the front desk was very friendly. Some hotel keys are tricky and make it difficult to enter the room, but the Fairmont's card keys worked flawlessly every time, which was nice. I liked the soft fluffy towels in the bathroom. It was nice that there were more towels than I needed. I loved the view from my room on the 23rd floor. Check in and check out were very easy. I bought a gift in the gift shop to give to my sister.

The hotel itself was nice and the room was clean and comfortable. Front desk and door men were both excellent. The only problems we had were with the restaurant. We had multiple occasions where they seemed very under-staffed. I'm not sure why they would not know when a large seminar would break for lunch, and be ready to accommodate the attendees, but they were unprepared. we sat over 45 minutes without receiving help, so we left and had to purchase fast food due to the time. Similar experiences in the evening at the bar - very long wait times and slow service.

« It was really lucky to have suite room »

Cleaning, service at the reception were really great and it made me feel comfortable. One little thing I felt inconvenient was I couldn't connect the phone to reception so long time. I tried some times but never connected smoothly. That's it. All of other service was great and I would love to stay again if I go to Dallas. Especially the lady who arranged my room when I arrived was really friendly and very professional.

The overall experience was good. Very good. The room and the hotel was clean. The staff and all of the hotel workers were very nice and friendly. However, a couple of comments: - As most people charge their smart phones during the night, and like to have them nearby (that means, within reach), not having electrical outlets next to the bed is rather inconvenient. In our room, the power strip was located under the bed (a king size bed), so I had to charge my phone across the room. Again, rather inconvenient. - the bathroom is not well-lit, especially when you're getting ready to attend a wedding and need proper lighting for make-up, etc. - this is more of a minor note, but the cable was not working Saturday and Sunday, so we couldn't watch TV for those periods that we were in the room. Other than that, we very much enjoyed our stay at the Fairmont.
