The restaurant was great. The babysitter for our kids was great The room was spacious and comfortable The in room coffee was awesome . We were able to get fresh milk in our fridge for the coffee (very important)

Very pleasant. Comfortable, clean as well as the room service was a polite experience. One thing though, the staff that handled the conference I was attending were less than friendly and crass. Although they did a wonderful job their customer service skills were lacking immensely.

I stayed during the week late April early May when the hotel was only 10% occupied, yet no room upgrade offered. When I asked the next day what is your policy about upgrades, I received BS answer that it depends on occupancy and when I pointed out that the hotel is almost empty I was offered an upgrade to a king room (I had 2 double) which I politely declined because it was a very insignificant upgrade. All room types were available, for example View room or Deluxe room. Also no breakfast benefit, although this is has been the case for a long time according to Fairmont or Accor rules. By comparison, I am a frequent guest at Westin Tremblant. Over there I frequently get suite upgrades, sometimes even the 2-bedroom suite, and there is free breakfast for 2 as a Platinum benefit. To be honest, as much as I like service at Fairmont and your facilities being better than Westin for example the pool, it makes little sense to return to Fairmont given how stingy you are about upgrades. Competitors are far more generous. Similar thing at Homewood Suites: I am Hilton Diamond and they gave me upgrade to highest room category before. Obviously Homewood Suite is not the same quality of hotel as Fairmont, but if I have the choice between a large 2-bedroom suite at HS or the entry level room at Fairmont, I will pick HS.

« Our stay was great. »

There were two things that weren't the best experience, the porter service for when we requested our vehicle after check out, we stood around for more than 1/2 hour and we had to actually go back in to get our keys and load our luggage. I do understand that there was a mad rush as it was just after the awards ceremony and there were many people all at the same time and the porters were doing their best.

The experience was great, except I didnt find the bed comfortable especially the sheets. Not soft and comfy very stiff. Other than that everything was perfect... accomodations, staff and meals. A good night sleep is very important when away from home and unfortunalely didn t sleep well because of stiff sheets!!

Everything was fine except one hostess at the Comptoir who gave us false information about the next day's breakfast. She said that there would be no usual breakfast from 8 to 10 am, but only a Easter brunch starting from 10. So we were not able to enjoy a relaxing morning treat at the hotel. We instead had to go out to find something to eat on the street.
