« Not a relaxing experience. »

It was an not a relaxing experience that I was expecting due to the number of visitors and the amount of badly behaved children. Had to stop one boy from kick boxing the down button on the elevator. I enjoy swimming but the pool was so overwhelmed with children that I couldn’t even get in. While in the lobby sitting in front of the fire a boy was running in and out of the bar area and it seemed that it was perfectly normal behaviour and no one stopped him. Having said that the room and bed was comfortable and the one time we spent at the bar was relaxing and I loved the hostess Dominique. However I thought that I might be able to change our second night stay and move to the on Accor hotel, Château Montebello to finish our holiday but the manger didn’t even come out to speak to me on the morning of our second day or ask what the problem was. So I just left disappointed. So I didn’t enjoy my stay.

« Pleased overall, with some hiccups. »

We were greeted with great and friendly service. Found the temperature in our room to be uncontrollable, to the point where we had to turn off the fan, as it was so cold, even on the summer nights. (Went to bed wearing layers and socks.) There was an ongoing tapping coming from either one of the walls or the ceiling of our 7th floor room; was very noisy at night. Room service was great! We enjoyed the pool and the hot tubs, especially late at night; we would have enjoyed it even more if the pool was open an hour later, without children. Merci! Hope to return in future.

« overpriced motel on a beautiful location, with many high-priced optional services. »

The location is wonderful though the village restaurant services are mediocre. The hotel restaurant was alright. We chose the $30 breakfast buffet but were disapointed by stale croissants and a lack of elegant items like vegetables. The room included a large tv and a king size bed. There was a shower and the pool was nice.

« Beautiful location and nice hotel »

We had a lovely stay at the Fairmont. Our request for a suite was accommodated by the hotel. A few things however were disappointing. The website advertises kids under 5 eat for free at a particular restaurant in the hotel. This was a very big incentive, we only upon arrival realized this restaurant only serves breakfast. Additionally the brochure we were given when we checked in said that every evening a bonfire with roasting of marshmallows would take place. The kids were excited, however when we arrived in the evening did the bonfire, we were told it just wasn’t taking place that evening. So these were just disappointing things. But the staff were friendly and helpful which made the experience on a whole very pleasant.

The hotel is great and the staff are always extremely helpful and friendly. Bedrooms were cleaned early and done efficiently. However, with the price being paid for the rate, we were expecting the rooms to have a Nespresso machine. We had a Kurig machine, which is not a great substitute. That brought down the experience with your hotel. Parking is also an issue as your rates are very high.

The room was almost unbearable. We had our 13 year old daughter with us who was to sleep on the sofa bed. The sofabed mattress was awful. It had a huge dip in it. You could feel all the bed bars below it. It was painful.

Our experience was great, we will definitely return next time we come to Tremblant. The only criticisms are both food related: Getting seated for breakfast always took too long. I can understand for larger parties but for a couple it shouldn't take that long. However breakfast was fantastic and the servers were great. The second bone I have to pick has to do with room service. I ordered the pepperoni flatbread and I have to say it may have been the worst thing I have ever tasted... ever... I don't mean to sound harsh but for a high-level establishment that flatbread has no business being served to guests... Again I hate to come off too mean but for everybody's sake please remove the flatbreads from the menu or start making them edible. It was that bad.... the dough was a mushy and rubbery texture... 1 or 2 of the slices inexplicably had no crust and the cheese was horrible... there was too much of it and was only partially melted. I was truly amazed that in a hotel of the prestige of the fairmont that level of "food" had been served. Maybe it was a one-time thing, maybe I got unlucky.... but it truly was the most unpleasant thing I have ever attempted to eat. That having been said, we loved our experience. I spoke about the pizza in a brutally honest manner only to drive home the fact that it is an unacceptable level of quality for such a great hotel. I am looking forward to returning next year (hopefully, possibly the following year). Thanks to all staff for making our stay relaxing and enjoyable.

Room was awesome,plenty of coffees and creamers. Only little minor glitches though, pool wasn’t open until 9 on Sunday, and the checkout is at 11, and the indoor whirlpool water was cold. Besides that a great stay.

« Great pool, everything else fell short of my expectation for Fairmont »

It began on the wrong foot - with the staff not allowing me to take my bags to my room. They insisted they must do it. After driving 7+ hours with 2 children, we needed to change and go eat before melt downs. But we were stuck, waiting in our room for 15min with no luggage. Throughout the stay, I found service *meh*. No one seemed to make an extra effort in anything they did.
