It was okay, but check out was a hassle. Front desk lost my tax exempt form and I had to show my credentials again. Hotel also booked my stay under a wrong group. Not overly impressed.

We were, however, disappointed that there were no coffee packets for the in-room coffee maker. When we called to the front desk to report it, they sent up a full pot of coffee for us and charged us about $20.00 for what should have been a service that was included!! That pot of coffee should have been free!

I have stayed at over a dozen Fairmont Hotels in 3 different countries & have never had a bad experience until now. Putting aside the hotel is in need of a major renovation it was extremely dirty. The towels & bed sheets were stained and there was food left in the ice machine room for my entire 3 day stay, just to name a few. Extremely disappointing and we won’t be returning.

« A fantastic and fun weekend »

We stayed at the Fairmont for Fanime weekend and had a great time! Upon entering the hotel, it was clean and very well presented. We were able to check in very quickly thanks to Susheel and got a room that wasn't too high up (amazing due to the long elevator lines at conventions). The room was clean and we were provided with plenty of amenities for our stay. Overall, a fantastic experience.

It’s a great hotel overall. Stayed for FanimeCon. Last two times many years ago I had problems to the point that it motivated me to stay else (cannot day for sure tho if it was my problem or theirs, to be fair). Tried it this year and found I had problems again, to no fault of the hotels to be fair again, but the big difference was that the team went above and beyond to accommodate and I will likely stay there again where available.

Check in was fast and easy and the attendant was very welcoming and nice. The room was nice and clean. Only semi bad experience I had with my stay was at the valet. I was loading up my stuff after checking out and I told the attendant I had more stuff in the lobby and I would be right back. I return in less than 2 minutes and the attendant had left and took my car to a lot that was a bit away because I had to wait about 20mins for him to come back

The overall stay was good. The check in staff and housecleaning person were very kind, welcoming, and accommodating. I was surprised my room wasn't ready when I came around 3:30 to check in as it says check in is after 3 but I understood the high volume of guests at the time. My only other discomfort were the long elevator queues but otherwise I would stay again.
