This hotel is very elegant and you feel the history when you walk in. It's very well located, very close to the funi which will take you to the city center. The room was gorgeous and very spacious. It also has a small spa. Very nice breakfast.

Average. Breakfast was OK, but not amazing. No good meat really..sort of cold waffles...nice big room, but facing two big roads and McDonald's with no soundproofing. Woke up at least an hour earlier than needed due to the noise.

I was there on business and had a good stay. The AC did not cool off as well as it should have. I did not mention anything to the front desk.

The room was large and felt very comfortable. I appreciated the coffee/tea station and the large bathroom. The staff was helpful and kind. A 24 hour Money exchange in the lobby was a great resource. I with the bar on the 2nd floor was not a smoking facility and the chairs in the room could probably do with replacing - they were a little old and not supportive so working at the desk wasn't possible. Also, not that it matters, but my tv never did work.

Fairmont is on the bank of the river and best suited for a business traveller. This was my second stay and I can say that its been a good experience. The rooms are big and well appointed !! The beds are comfortable while the bathrooms are clean and big. I like the art-deco style interiors which is a good change from the modern hotels we regularly stay. The only problem the hotel faces is when they have a large banquet or a party in the hotel. The service slows down considerably and repeated calls need to be made for small items as well. This is exactly what happened this time when there were large weddings everyday and we had to call repeatedly for simple things as Ice. Besides that, the hotel has a great bar, fantastic food and its impossible to find faults here !!

« A solid Fairmont experience »

Very classy typical Fairmont Hotel in good condition and well maintained. I did appreciate the early check-in and the calm room allocation. Rooms have good size and are well designed, also the bathroom offers lots of space. Unfortunately though all Fairmont’s offer Le Labo baht amenities and it's promoted on the Hotels website our room did not have it. I’ve asked reception two times and was told I would get them but they never arrived. It’s strange that one would only get it upon request? SPA area is very small and outdated compared to other properties in town. Otherwise was service in general good, but nor overwhelming.

« Beautiful hotel in immaculate conditional, great staff, particularly mention for the restaurant waiter, doorman and Gold lounge hostess. »

Only concern was the noise from the three nights of weddings. We were staying in an Atrium room on the Gold Floor and the loud music went on till after midnight. The chef needs to perfect his omelet making, it was overcooked and dry and the Spinach tart special breakfast, the pastry was considerably raw and not freshly made only reheated...better not to have it on the menu. My husband is a head Chef with the Hilton Group, so I feel qualified to say this. The food in the Gold Lounge was excellent and a great selection.

Everything was ok. The unfortunate thing is that the lounge bar on the 2nd floor is an indoor smoking lounge. My bill was closed before I've checked out and created abit of drama before I left as I was trying to order a cocktail charged to my room. Ended up not getting any points for the cocktail. Very good concierge especially to the lady tending the concierge. Very sharp and efficient. Also, Im confused, as an Accor Platinum, I didn't know there is a Fairmont gold? I could have booked for the gold level or something....inconsistent. The gold room has a private level.

The hotel and staff were amazing. I would only say that upon check in you should warn people that the rooms with the river view are a bit noisy. I had to switch my room to the city view, which was great and much more peaceful.

I must admit I am big time Marriot fan . You staff were some time ver Curt and need more of service me reality . I love and may still come to your property Becoz you have outstanding spa the spa fontoffice is good the the therapist was outstanding ( alina If I am right was super good)
