The hotel and service was excellent, the downside was the building work going on outside our window. The view looking out at scaffolding isn’t the best but fully understand construction work has to be carried out. What we didn’t expect was to be woken up at 8.45am to the noise of a kango and drilling.

Service was very bad on our 2nd morning at breakfast. Also our shower didn’t work properly that morning either. That was Saturday 3rd of August.

A highly enjoyable stay with first class customer service from arrival to departure. My wife and I are fortunately accustomed to staying in luxury hotels across the world. Yet had never previously stayed at the Savoy. The check in experience was excellent, from both the warm front door greeting by the Concierge to the front desk itself. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Quality towels and toiletries. An early dinner at Simpson’s was superb. A memorable Sunday roast served in elegant surroundings. Highly attentive service from a very professional and friendly serving team. Aristotle in particular provided an excellent description of the wine choices and some menu recommendations. First class. A good night’s sleep followed by a great breakfast, then a long walk prior to check out. Overall, a memorable stay. Impeccable service from a very well trained and managed team. A first class experience and exactly what we had expected and hoped for from such a prestigious hotel. Thank you! We will return.... Neil and Oyami S.

From walking through the door I was made to feel extremely welcome and everyone was professional but in a relaxed manner which was important as we had two young children in our party. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of effort that had been taken to provide for the children in our room with gifts of sweets and toys not to mention the (library). They were delighted.
