We had a fabulous time at the Fairmont! The facility was great, staff was very welcoming and accommodating (they even had a stroller for us to use when our was lost by the airline and the location can’t be beat!!!

The stay was nice and hotel was clean. The only problem was my pyjamas went missing and I can only think they got lost with the bedding. Otherwise all was fine. Also it’s a shame with the building work going on as it was not very nice to look at from the balcony and when eating breakfast.

Do not hesitate to contact us in order to check again with our Lost & Found service. As for the construction working in front of the hotel, for your kind information, please note that in 2017, the Government of the Principality of Monaco launched the project of the porter's cove sea extension. This project will allow the construction of 65,000 m sq. platform that will extend from the Larvotto / Grimaldi Forum beaches to the Porter roundabout, just next to the Fairmont Monte Carlo. Declared to be of national interest, it planned for several workshops for the protection of the environment which ended by the end of 2017. The main work to be developed has now started on the left of our hotel, when we look at the sea, avoiding immediate proximity to the Fairmont Monte Carlo. The prime contractor Bouygues illustrates on a dedicated website the major stages of this ambitious adventure that you can follow on http://www.bouygues-construction.com/en/monaco. Jmmaculately presented hotel in great location. Breakfasts at Horizon wre excellent with exemplary table service. We had a light pizza snack with drinks one night at the 24 hour restaurant which was delicious and again with great table & drinks service. Very polite staff.

Unfortunately, we may have left two of my reading glasses in our room when we left at 5.00am on the morning of August 25. The Room Number was 5080.
