Very Good Stay

I have stayed in Swissotel Foshan before and I never get disappointed with our stay. Concierge Fred Yang met us at the front door and escorted us to check-in at the Front Office. He assisted us by asking for our passports since there is a queue. He tried to assist Ms Ella Lian to expedite our check-in procedure. When Ms. Ella Lian is available to handle our check-in, it was very smooth and prompt. After that together with Concierge Fred and Ms Ella, they assist us to our room. We are really honoured and appreciative with the service that they have given to us. In the evening, we went up to their Executive Lounge and realised that we can enjoy their Dinner Buffet for Free as a Elite Member. this is just unbelievable and really very appreciative to Swissotel Management to really take care of us to this extend. The dinner is really very good and I happened to meet the fantastic Chef. He is Chef Owen Liang. Mind me, he is really good and friendly. you can observe that he handle his task with confidence. Actually my main travel plan is only on FOOD. May it from Breakfasts to Lounge Food or Restaurant Dinner, good experience Chef play a major part. I met an French Executive Chef in one of the Asian M Gallery. Sorry I have to say that he failed. He could be good in French or western foods. But the management must realise that the Hotel is in Asia so Chinese Food should be good with the spreads. We also met Johnson Dai who really took care of us. He gave good service with a good smile. The 2 piece band, Robin and Rain played some good oldies and very entertaining. After our dinner, we went back to our room to rest. We got a shock that our room is in total darkness. WE went downstairs to seek assistance from the Front Office. Then Ms. Rose Huang came to the rescue. She accompanied us to our room and at the same time radioed the maintenance guy to go by to check the power. We found out that the circuit breaker tripped due to one of the bulbs busted. After a deep thought I intended to take up Ms. Rose offer of changing room. I am afraid that half way through my sleep, it might tripped again as it is too let to repair by changing the bulb. Ms Rose Huang is so sweet to change our room to their Suite Room. the room is clean and comfortable. WE love the location of the Hotel and at the same time love the staff working in Swissotel Foshan. Definitely we will be back to stay with them again. Very Very Good Stay.
