« it was perfect »

i stayed at your hotel as part of an official trip. i was fasting during Ramadan. i was very touched that the hotel provided me iftaar and sehri. they even accepted my request and sent sehri to my room and i didnt have to go to the coffee shop in the middle of the night. Your customer care was excellent. Thank you.

It was definitely one of the best hotel stay I have ever experienced, and just to highlight, I've stayed in all 'who's who' hotels that one can name! What stood out as the major highlight is the hotel staff's willingness to be of help and service to you! Every single individual I came into contact with was extremely welcoming and helpful, right from the people at the hotel gate, to the receptionists, room service people and people I called up for help from the room (Swiss service?). Sadly I have forgotten names, I would like to give a big shoutout to all the room service people for room # 516 on 03 and 04 June. At the checkout, Chirag was really kind and warm, kudos to his customer-oriented behavior!

The attitude of the front office staff would only bring a dent on this hotel. They were not prepared to upgrade the room even at the increased cost, to the prefixed package of theirs, as my booking was done through Booking.com. Even though I mentioned that I am ready to pay for the difference between the package booked and the higher package, they were not ready to oblige !!! They say they will not change any package if it was booked under Booking.com. Ridiculous !!! Secondly as I had a late night Check-in, I had ordered for a Hot Chocolate which was served in the room at around 12 midnight. The bearer insisted that the payment for the same to be made only by cash and he cannot put it to the room bill, only because there was no advance deposit on my account. In fact while checking in I myself had offered the front desk staff to take a round figure as advance higher than the booked two nights price. But they themselves said that only the rent is sufficient and had taken it. As a widely traveled person, I have only felt that it is a sort of failed/bad customer service by the hotel staff. Probably, the hotel expects only 'gori skin' people as their guests and would discourage the locals. So we could refrain from such staff and such hotels, when we have more options.

« Seems the owners son gets to do what he likes at the expense of customers »

Hotel itself was fine however found ourselves being treated 2nd class when the owners son decided to throw a party in the restaurant we were encouraged to eat at. Firstly they move us saying there's a private function later then turn the lights down and pump the music beyond 120db leaving us unable to even talk. My ears are still ringing and the hotel staff didn't do a thing to help us. We won't be staying there again. This seems to be a common theme across the country where you're only important till someone more important than you comes into the picture!

« Worst experience hotel »

I booked a king-bed room but gave it a twin-bed room. I was sleeping while I was changing rooms, and the staff rang the bell at dawn and opened the door with the key. he left without an apology. At the restaurant next morning, I took a guide to the table and sat down. Since then I went to get food, and another guest was sitting. Staff told me to go to another table. Service training is also lacking, and basic services are not doing well.

How can the complementary breakfast be not included in the tarrif? Check in was a rather lengthy process. There's not a single smoking zone inside the hotel premise, I understand that's a Eco friendly way to sustainability. But not user friendly.

« Private party ruined experiance »

The Hotel is lovely and well situated with some great amenities. Restaurant staff were great and eager to help and please, even more so when Indian dishes were asked for. The Wykiki bar was fantastic at lunch great plates of tapas style food though when we returned in the evening things changed. Asked to move to the outer room due to a private party whilst we were happy to accomodate the 15 or so revellers playing beer ping pong and music so loud it made our ears ache, we were moved to sit underneath the speakers! Staff advised us they couldn’t turn the music down as it was the owners sons party and there was nothing we could do. It was so loud we couldn’t even get our bill delivered and despite being told it would be waived after waiting 15 minutes we left. As you can imagine we received no apology and the bills were on our final bill. Didn’t bother checking or arguing we paid and left never to return. If The owners wish to use it as their private party venue that’s their prerogative, mine is not to return. I will update my company travel agent about this.
