Overall all was satisfactory. However, your room service for in house dining was very poor. Firstly I received one meal which was covered in oil and the chicken was also covered in garlic.....this was not a Ceaser salad!! On the second occasion my meal was delivered without any knife, fork or spoon. There was also no serviette. I waited 10 minutes for the cutlery and never received the serviette. On the positive your front desk personnel were excellent, especially Helen, who is a credit to your company.

« Good, but there are some improvements needed. »

The room was okay and the maid service was good. However, I've noticed recently that the rooms are already showing the wear and tear of their age. The rooms need to be updated in both the design and in the features. 1) I love the Nespresso coffee maker 2) The TV is nice, but you need more international TV channels. 3) There need to be more electrical outlets conveniently located throughout the room. 4) You should 100% eliminate carpeting. It is unhealthy and costs more for you to "clean" even though you never really get it clean. 5) The lighting needs to be upgraded. Get a lighting consultant this time. The Food & Beverage service still needs improvement. I have my breakfast in the Executive Lounge on the 20th floor usually. Here are a few observations: 1) I find it mind boggling that a European hospitality company cannot figure out how to make good, fresh croissants for breakfast. I honestly don't think the chef even tried. 2) The lounge staff are very attentive and all have a great attitude. 3) I overheard the chef yelling at his staff in the kitchen. This is not a good indicator that I'm going to get good quality food. 4) I also find it mind boggling that in China a hotel can somehow mess up the recipe for Soy Bean Milk. Stop adding sugar. 5) The bircher meusli yogurt really looks, feels, and tastes like it was prepared on the previous weekend and put in the refridgerator to be served Monday - Friday. It's obviously not fresh. Again, a Swiss-based hotel company that can't get a swiss dish right. Unbelievable. The upgrade to the bar by the lobby was great, but the service is so so. As they say, "good hardware, but bad software" Put a bigger TV over the bar. Turn up the volume of the TV, and turn down the volume of the lousy music. Please get a better wine selection that demonstrates that you are a high quality European hospitality company. You need a good variety of Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, American, and Australian wines. The draft beer selection is a weak attempt at craft beer service. The hotel van shuttle service was pretty scary. The van provided to my group one morning is clearly on its last leg. The driver should have his license revoked. Either provide high quality, safe service, or don't offer the service at all. If this was an outsourced service, then Kunshan Swissotel's Purchasing Manager should be fired. The elevators are slow and out of order at times. The wait time is too long. This could be a safety issue. Suggestion: Put a bakery and coffee shop in the lobby to the left of the front entrance (as you come into the hotel) that serves real French croissants. Hope my observations are helpful.

I appreciated the comfortable rooms, and the surroundings of the hotel where it is easy to walk around in the parks and sportsfield nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good with an extensive selection of European and local options. I had an issue with my television one evening, and the technician arrived within 10mins of calling reception - and was able to fix the issue quickly. All in all, I would fully recommend the hotel and would consider staying there during my next trip to Kunshan.

had a wonderful stay with swissotel. the staffs are very attentive, polite and helpful. Room is clean and tidy. only down side of this stay is they are hosting a beer fest event. Kinda noisy as the room noise insulation is not good. otherwise, it is perfectly good hotel to stay for business or leisure.
