Overall it was a pleasant stay, the only problems for us were: the wifi did not work for a couple of days and the soap they provide for taking a shower is not enough. But the staff was courteous and helpful, especially the front desk and bellman.

We have stayed here for 3 days this time due to business and travel at same time. Wonderful location from airport and to city center and nice service especially in club lounge. Twice a year we visit Osaka regularly and our accommodation choice was always swissotel nankai.

« Pleasant but slightly disappointing »

It is a lovely hotel in an excellent location. I stayed in February and decided to bring my partner back for an “experience” and rest after 2 months travelling in Europe and across Siberia. It is still lovely but I was and still am extremely disappointed that we were put on the bottom floor of the hotel with limited expansive views. It felt like we were in the basement. The room was nice and the staff when they became aware of my concern were wonderful. It made me wonder whether Accor see membership as being a financial exercise and not associated with some of the things in life that go to build brand loyalty. We took our free drinks in the Top floor and were shown to the side of the restaurant with no views...we asked and they said that side was reserved for people having meals.....despite it being empty! On the other hand the staff are wonderful and leant over backwards finding a hairdresser. So overall an enjoyable time in a first class hotel spoilt a little bit by the organisation lacking a little bit in loyalty structure.

It was our 3rd time here! We had a wonderful two weeks vacation in Japan. Despite of the many offers we received from other hotels, we decided for your hotel because of the unbeatable deal you offered us in Osaka stop. It was a very good decision; We enjoyed the peace and quiet we needed, very high quality offered in all the facilities of your gorgeous hotel. This definitely added to the excellent service of the staff in every segment of your hotel. In the last 15 years that I have been staying at your hotel, I have never been as disappointed as the last several consecutive stays. The standard of cleanliness has dropped significantly. Stayed for 2 nights. For some reason the Receptionist took forever to check in, it was annoying. Room was small, bathroom had a slight smell of urine, had stains on bath towels. Good city view, super convenient location, right next to Train station, right in middle of city lots of shops and restaurants. Long queue at Check-out, found it unprofessional that only 2 people working at Front Desk at a busy time.
