It was great as my first experience in Swissôtel Shanghai and I found it very well located (except maybe for the traffic near Jihan'Temple) and very nice service with complementary upgrade. The staff at executive floor is very kind and efficient answering all my requests in professional manners. Overall great!

Overall it was good but there were some minor problems, the staff at breakfast were inattentive and flustered, not able to clean and set the tables after guests left. There was nothing to tell me I needed to request the housekeeping to clean the room so I wondered why they still had not done it at 4pm. The check in was painfully slow, check out a little better. The concierge English wasn't that good.

Pleasant. Only feedback is in gym, the pipe music so loud and not to taste, to point I had my own music on Max volume, which hurt my ears. Despite a polite request to turn down ever so slightly, your staff said she couldn't adjust. That was the one and only setting. Surely not?

Stay was overall fine. Found the rooms to be nice enough and bathroom was quite big. The bed was extremely hard and I found a majority of the staff hard to communicate with, especially in the Yuan Yuan restaurant. No one spoke English. Also tried using Accor Plus card for the mean we had at Yuan Yuan and was advised afterwards by the reception staff that it is not part of the hotel (despite being inside the hotel). Was still a fairly pleasant stay as we were there on business and did not spend much time in the hotel. Would probably try a different hotel next time though. Internet was also extremely slow with no option to upgrade to high speed internet.
