We want to inform you that Ten Stories restaurant is undergoing renovations from Monday 15 April until Sunday 5 May and will be temporarily closed during this period. Excelent location close to everywhere. Arrivel from the airport by the train is very convinius: The train station (from the airport and to the airport) is located about 3 minutes away from the hotel. The rooms are spacious and equipped. The reception staff were exceptional (very helpul and understanding). The bootom line: highly recommend!

The face of the Swissotel - Shaun the doorman/concierge is one of a dying breed. To be greeted by name and acknowledged is rarity in today's hospitality industry This alone is enough to make us return. The corner room we were upgraded to was brilliant, staff in club lounge always helpful a very enjoyable stay we shall certainly return.

Underwhelming with potential to be better

Stayed recently with family and it was nice but not very memorable due to the overall experience. Starting with the positives: the room and bed was comfy, the rooms are a good size and modern, the updated foyer bar is a nice place in the evening; and food was good. Unfortunately, there were a number of misses that impacted the experience. Baby crib and included champagne wasn’t in the room on arrival and required a phone call reminder. One LED light above the bed didn’t fully turn off and impacted my partners sleep. Keys weren’t coded correctly to our guaranteed late checkout (part of package) and maintenance tried to enter the rooms shortly before checking out not knowing the room was stil occupied. Lastly, while the restaurant has nice food, it’s soulless, has harsh lighting and desperately needs an upgrade.

This was our third stay. It was good but not as good as the last 2 times. The little touches weren’t there. For example, there were no slippers in the cupboard like usual and when we went for breakfast and asked for a hot chocolate the lady said that it would be an extra charge. I’m not sure why? The last 2 times were free. I’m not a coffee drinker and neither are my kids. Why is coffee part of the breakfast deal and not hot chocolate? The kids and I were disappointed because we really enjoyed having them the last 2 times. Also, the pool cushions were looking very mouldy and dirty. I know these are little things but for 5 stars it’s the little things that count. On the flip side the location is great, the lobby looks amazing, the bed was very comfortable and the shower pressure was great. We would love to keep coming back because of these fantastic features but would really like more attention to the little things that make a place special and make you want to keep coming back.
