The hotel was very good and had a great look and feel. But there were couple of issues -AC temperature could be reduced to only 21 D Centigrade and for someone not staying in SG, this was hot. The client was also away fro the bed. -There was no flexibility with the staff at lobby. I was booked for 2 days and breakfast was covered for only 2nd day. The 2nd day breakfast was also at the conference so I requested if I could utilise the same on 1st in the hotel. But this was denied!

The room was excellent with an amazing view. My only (minor) complaint was that the room fridge is rather small. We had buffet breakfasts and the food was of excellent quality and variety. The service was outstanding. This was our second stay at the Swisshotel The Stamford.

Modern design, new and clean. Light control panel is cool and soft lighting selection for sleep just what I want. Room is big, family for 4 good enough. Beautiful city view at balcony. Breakfast is delicious.

To: whoever is in-charge, My family and I had the misfortune of checking in your hotel 7th September’19 at 3pm. I think you should know of and hopefully do something about. Firstly, we were welcome with a sight which shocked us as I would expect a much better standard consider this is not a 3 star hotel. We were greeted with a room (initial 3372) which were assigned to us totally not cleaned up. The beds were not properly done, the mini-bar was empty, and the bathrooms were still dirty. I wonder what do the housecleaning people at your hotel do exactly to prepare the room for the next guest? Do they have a checklist or do they just randomly go through stuff? Secondly, when I have asked the reception to repeat and advise on the wifi password. Impatience via the tone was noted. Thirdly, we were given the complimentary breakfast to cover the hiccups but sadly when we reached the cafe. There is 2 queues and there is no one to direct which is the correct queue and we were only informed by the fellow guests in the hotel that one is for registration and the other to await to enter the cafe. It is very confusing and I believe some customers has complain to you upfront. I hope you agree with me that this type of service is completely unacceptable at so many levels. It is not the kind of treatment I would have expected from a five star hotel in Singapore and caliber. I am very disappointed from this bitter experience. I would like to hear your thoughts about my complaint and the steps that you are willing to take to prevent such incidents in the future. Please refer to my confirmation number is #41…. All the facilities and amenities were extremely good. One issue faced was the crowd for the breakfast was not anticipated and managed. We were rushing on one of the days and the queue for the breakfast was bit shocking and delayed my activities by 30 mins. Please take care of such aspects for the guests, sometimes such delays can be very crucial for travelling guests.

I would also like to express my displeasure throughout the entire stay experience, which was complete with hiccups and delays. The check in process was horrendous, with the log in screen often unresponsive or hangs, which then requires a service staff to assist us. Card keys issued to us cannot be read and we had to end up waiting again, with 2 young kids on tow. I would think that being a Accor Plus member would help but no benefit came out of it. For daily newspaper deliveries, do we need to request for it? We were told that we can have our daily breakfasts on Clove and Kopitiam. However, during our stay, Kopitiam was closed for business (for 2 days) and long queues can be seen forming at Clove every morning as hotel guests are queueing up to be seated by the restaurant staff. It was a lot of waiting and just plain agonising.

Unfortunately, my husband n I did not have a good stay at the hotel. On our 1st night at the hotel , the aircon in our room broken down n was blowing hot air . We called the reception n they sent in the engineer in the middle of night . The enginner try to fix the problem ...but can't be done. So he called the reception to ask for a change of room for us. He told us to wait in our room as the reception will get back to us. We waited about 15min n were perspiring away in the hot room. So we called the reception again...and nobody seem to be aware of the problem n we had to repeat the problem all over again. Then the reception offer to send an engineer to go to our room to fix the problem....is like he did not hear what we just told him which is the final straw that broke the camel back. My husband was totally furious now n demanded that they changed our room immediately.....the reception then go on to say that they don't have our room type ....etc etc. Eventually, we manged to have a room change ....the exact room type that we booked after going through alot trouble. For a 5 star hotel , we were very disappointed by the poor service ....it seems that the various departments in the hotel don't communicate which leave hotel guests very frustrated trying to work our way out of the problem.

Not impressed with the self check in function. Still prefer the conventional front desk services. System isnt user friendly...staff had issues scanning the identity cards. Room was okay but however....all USB wall plugs in room 972 wasn't working. Toilet should have a 3 pin plug for hairdryer For a hotel of such standard and reputation...having a requirement of deposit $100 for the stay...there isn't any chargeable cold beverages or snacks in fridge unlike many hotels of that class. It was a staycation stay and i requested for higher floor. Were told its not available for higher floor when check in. Staff even recommended a twin bedder if want higher floor...couple staycation with twin bedder??? Thats absurd! Hope to see more improvement in future.

Love the 'hi-tech' service, love the room specifically the view, lucky that we stayed in harbour view room, the scene was perfect. Beside, we're impressed the hotel provide the sign of direction for Moslem to pray. Overall, we love the hotel and one of the best so far..

Only view is the best of my life. However, the check-in service was really really terrible. There were not helper. Just wait them more than 20 min even through we required. It was really horrible memory for traveling.

The hotel was amazing. The cleanliness is the best I have ever seen in a hotel. There wasn't a fingerprint anywhere. The room looked like no one had been in the room before. All staff were pleasant and helpful. The location is perfect. We will be back when we're next in Singpaore

« Good location but less helpful staff member! »

Good location, but staff service was not so great during checking-in! Just because of a wrong input of guest number to 'one' instead of 'two' during check-in, I was told that an extra guest for breakfast will be charged separately. This is ridiculous as my room booking was meant for 2 persons. Please look into your rigid check-in system. Also, there was no room upgrade as promised even though I'm a Gold Member of LeClub Accord Hotels.

« Amazing family friendly hotel »

As a leclub Accor silver member I requested early checkin and it was granted. Our rooms were ready by 8am which was excellent considering it was school holidays. The rooms were excellent and we were given two connecting rooms for us and my daughters family which is very convenient. Amazing value and experience. Excellent location in city hall, no need to walk through the humid weather outside to get to food, shops and mrt station.
