From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, the service, experience and food was beyond 5 stars. We were upgraded to a Signature Suite which was absolutely incredible, the Spa and associated amenities were amazing, and the quality of service/room service etc. were all incredible.

All very good: the junior suite onto the patio, quietness and privacy. The lobby with the bar, centre of the atmosphere day & night, with Parisians. The Spa and the beautiful pool... A palace with a cosy ambiance, not at all snob. But the real plus is the quality of the staff, their professionalism but also their general attitude between formal and décontracté! When I came my TV refused to show the films you’re selling. When I went to spa to have a massage I was asked 2 times to take a credit card with me as sty was wrong for the whole stay. When I called housekeeping to send me Mouthwash - she said Yes. I went downstairs to have breakfast. Came back an hour and a half later - nobody brought it. I was already very late for my meeting in town. Then I called again and asked again to bring it - they said yes. But nobody brought it again for another 15 min. I’m calling again - and this time they’re saying “We don’t have mouthwash in house, we've just sent somebody to buy it for you”. One evening the electricity was off totally. When I came back to the hotel from my meeting in the evening - nobody informed me that the Eli tricot you was off - I just guessed by myself. Next morning you had your lights on but NO WIFI UNTIL 3pm I THINK..... When I had problems with my iPhone I asked the hotel people that I needed to make a phone call from the hotel phone to Moscow office - nobody knew how to do it first, then they told me something, but I never seceded and they didn’t want to check with me if I needed help - they knew I had a problem as I phoned the hotel guys many times. The whole service in the hotel was quite indifferent. For example people at the reception may easily not say Good Morning - while not being busy at the reception... Breakfast - it was sooo fantastic before; now it’s not bad. No soul at all.

We had high expectations prior to arrival - we were celebrating our 10th anniversary, reception and concierge had been great taking care of our accommodation and restaurant requests. Upon arrival - Very impressed with the professionalism of the front desk and valet staff Candice and Maximillan. We also received a room upgrade which totally made our day - loved the decor and room layout. Also loved the ambiance of the hotel with its art installations - interesting without losing its elegance. The indoor pool was great, I could actually swim laps in it, love how thoughtful the staff is to include fins and pull buoys by the pool. Water temp was also perfect. In-residence - this is when things turned sour. The power outage on our first night in the hotel certainly put a damper on our first night at the hotel. While the cause of this issue is beyond the hotel control, how you respond to the issue is completely within your control. We would have expected a back-up generator to provide continuous power, and at the very least, flashlights prominently available within the room for safety and security. As it was, we had to rely on our iPhone flashlights - clearly not ideal. Also, no one communicated to us exactly what happened until the 2 days later. I was just thankful we were not trapped inside the elevator considering the power outage happened right after we got back to our room after dinner and kept out until around 7am the next morning. Our brunch the next morning at 10am in the restaurant was similarly chaotic, with almost laughably poor service, and very limited selection of food available. The servers were more concerned with wrapping up breakfast service rather than serving us. We were left without utensils and empty glasses until we had to flag someone down and get their attention. We were treating our friends from Hong Kong for brunch, who left with a similarly poor experience of the hotel as a result. Clearly, this is not the experience we would expect from a luxury hotel. We had such high expectations checking into the hotel and have to admit we left the hotel extremely disappointed.

Hi I thought the overall stay was amazing really brought to life by the staff and there attention to detail which was consistently high 24-7. The 2 areas that for me stopped me scoring it a 10 was at breakfast the team where not that confident or sure what was on the menu when i asked for a shakshukka they said it wasn't an option but the manager fixed this on the first day and it wasn't a problem after that. The other small issue was when i asked where i can smoke a cigar i got plenty of different answers and nobody was clear where other than the exclusive club but in the end on my last night i noticed and was allowed to smoke on the terrace.

I had just spent 6 days in hospital after having been evacuated off a cruise ship by helicopter due to a medical emergency. Prior to returning home I thought I would take a few days rest in Paris. Our confirmation was for an executive room with an upgrade to a junior suite. But when we arrived we were given the Ray Charles suite. When I suggested that there must be a mistake, I was informed that there was no mistake. The hotel wanted me to be comfortable. I can only assume my travel agent advised the hotel of my condition generating this incredible upgrade. Eglantine Plumerand, the front of house manager, was extremely courteous and helpful. She greeted us every day and made us feel privileged and welcome She is an incredible asset to your team.

Good after you rectified several mistakes you made- eg wrong room, not ready on time, you neglected to put a specific pastry in our room AND a note I had written to my wife . Also, there was an unflushed merde dans la toilette! You need to be MUCH MORE attentive to a guests requests . This was not our prior experience but it was in this stay . Thanks, Scott
