Staying at the hotel during the buddhist new year made the experience. We were on backroads trip so everything was taken care of very well. Pool was lovely and staff was attentive and courteous

My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. The team of staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The hotel was beautiful, retaining a charming colonial feel. Very good selection at breakfast. Overall a very nice retreat for the long weekend. I understand that the hotel is going to start renovation works from May 1. There are some improvement opportunities which you may want to consider during this renovation: 1) There are many mosquitoes in the room and my wife and I were bitten repeatedly. It would be good if some kind of mosquito coil (perhaps electric) or mosquito net be included in the rooms. 2) the water closet flushes very aggressively, sometimes splashing out water. 3) TV quality is bad. During the renovation, it would be good to include some modern amenities like Smart TV where guest could get access to things like Netflix. 4) The electric sockets by the bed is positioned in an awkward way such that it makes it difficult or impossible for any electric device to be connected 5) Faucets in the shower and sink are not always very responsive

It was a wonderful experience. The staff and the attention to detail were excellent. We stayed in a personality suite and loved it, especially the original bath in the bathroom which was the most wonderful bath I have been in. The room was spacious and clean, with the biggest bed I have ever seen. I was ill and the staff looked after me so well...cannot thank them enough! Breakfast was superb...especially the crepes!! Swimming pool a joy...wish I had been able to stay much longer!! Loved it

We were with Classic Journies. Your hotel was excellent and more than met our expectations. I do have to let you know that one member of our party had the seared tuna plate for lunch our last day and was sick for days after - even on the plane home that evening and a few days after, until getting a course of antibiotics. That unfortunately put a damper on our trip.

The room was sublime - tastefully decorated - but most importantly the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the bedroom was dark. Service at all the bars and restaurants was excellent. Your staff were all very professional but also very friendly. Boureya (I think I have spelled that incorrectly) stands out particularly, as does Chamnam. We did the Khmer cookery course and the chef, Smai (again please forgive my spelling), was both an excellent guide at the market, and an excellent teacher.

Lovely staff throughout the hotel - very polite, helpful, friendly, warm and inviting and most professional. Thoroughly enjoyed my room/suite (1310) - house keeping kept everything fresh and clean. Fresh fruit everyday - very nice touch. Breakfast buffet is delicious and the dining room morning staff were so welcoming and friendly. Kept my coffee and orange juice filled. Morning news paper was brought to my table - very nice! Happy hour at the Elephant Bar was always relaxing and pleasant - lovely staff. Dining room is always a treat - delicious dinner and wine - exemplary service and helpful with the menu. Enjoyed some relaxing time around the beautiful pool. Never had to wait long to enjoy a cool drink or a bite to eat. Towels were always readily available. Excellent pool area staff. Used the spa on two occasions and loved both massages. Clean facilities and lovely staff. The grounds around the hotel are also quite lovely to go for a little stroll. Limousine pick up at the airport and departure were also a treat. Nice to arrive and depart in style! Whenever returning to the hotel from an outing, I was always welcomed with a warm greeting and a cool towel which is a nice touch of service. The treats and snacks that come with a drink (rice and banana chips) are always welcome and most tasty. All said, I had a beautiful and relaxing stay at Raffles

This is my third time staying at the Raffles Grand, and each time it's been a special visit. The staff is extremely courteous and service oriented. We were particularly impressed on the Saturday of our stay. We returned to the hotel a bit after 11 am after visiting temples. Despite the fact we had "missed" breakfast, the staff was happy for us to sit and eat. They could have easily explained we were late that breakfast was closed, or could have said just eat what's left. However, they did neither. They even got the cooks manning the omlette and crepe stations back out to cook for us. fantastic.

Lots of Detail to service and friendly and helpful staff. Only negative is the outdated and tired facility which needs major renovation if it wants to compete with other big upscale hotelchains. Hopefully that will be achieved with the upcoming renovation ( another layer of paint might not be enough)

The concert on the lawn was a big mistake. Why do that. I wanted some piece and quiet . Also the light in the room comes on when the Aircon kicks in and there was no milk in the room for coffee
