My family and I had a a very nice and enjoyable stay here in Raffles Makati. All the working staff we encountered are very warm, friendly and courteous. My sincere thanks to all the Writer's Bar staffs that was always friendly and courteous. My family really enjoyed the complimentary afternoon tea set while we were staying there. Will definitely come back and stay again in Raffles Makati on our next holiday trip to the Philippines and also will recommend to our friends about this hotel.Thank you.

It was a pleasant experience for the whole family. The location was perfect. The service was excellent, everybody was very accommodating. The restaurant within the hotel was convenient. The only thing that didn’t satisfy us was the pool. It was a too cold to take a dip. Overall though it was great stay. We don’t mind going back.

i only contacted the front desk twice and both times the girl on the ph could not understand english properly and l needed to repeat myself 3 times until l asked for someone else. The service here also does not seem as friendly or as good as the fairmont staff

« Great room and great Location, dining staff still needs training when it comes to detail of dining service »

The reservation and check in process was great, the butler service was attentive. The Alacarte breakfast location was good and good set of meal options. The bar upstairs needs some more training when it comes to order taking, attentiveness and sequence of meal. I was never ask for a drink if I want to order, I ordered for a steak meal, I still didn't get ask if I want any type of drink. I received incomplete silver ware, over all its a poor service at the roof top bar.

A totally enjoyable experience. I just wanted to place why I rated Le Club program so poorly I was a Fairmont Gold member and did not get the email about the change, the experience to update to the Le Club was very poor lacking anyone to contact. Wish it was still Fairmont Gold Program. I am booked in a number of Fairmont Hotel in Canada on my upcoming holiday.

« We had a great time »

My family and i checked in raffles to celebrate 3 occasions - my sons first birthday, my 14th year anniversary and fathers day. Have given this info upon check in but we did not get anything for any of this. In my experience with other properties, we were given something like a bottle of wine or cake when we checked in celebrating an occasion. It would have been nice if the father's were given a small token like a stuffed toy or the likes since it was father's day. The room was nice, amenities and service we superb. Our high tea on arrival was great, we really enjoyed it. But when we had it after we checked out, i was so surprised that the scones seemed quite smaller and the service that we got was different compared to the day before that. Kudos to ricky of writer's bar. Was surprised that the level of service for a property like raffles was not consistent. Breakfast selection was great, massage at the willow spa was divine thanks to ruth, the cocktails offered were ok. It would have been nice if there was some food served not only nuts and chips. It would have been nicer if raffles had their own private club floor exclusive for raffles guests just like in fairmont. Overall, we had a great family bonding time. Looking forward to our next stay.

« Rather poor and not welcoming. »

Had to deal with a room where A/C was not functioning. Couldn’t be fixed and so had to repack and change room. Much worse was the reluctance of staff to share email of the GM , perhaps to protect him from customer feedback. Really strange. I had to push hard to get the email address. I finally chose not to write to him because I thought someone from management on behalf of the GM, if not he himself, would see me the following morning and communicate some understanding for the poor experience. That did not happen and so I felt the feedback about poor service was perhaps not needed.

We were celebrating our parents' 49th wedding anniversary, and the stay made it very special. My parents felt so pampered and taken cared of. The suites were excellent and the staff extremely helpful, especially with my father who is in a wheelchair.
