« Not the best, just okay »

Check in takes a long time Check out takes even longer time Had to wait for a good time for my money back because they don’t have enough usd & change at the reception . The room smelled like charcoal although it’s a nonsmoking room.the room was freezing although we switched off the ac, it is very noisy in the rooms at night because of that loud place you have down so we couldn’t sleep until early morning , the cafe down is dirty(stains & food crumbs on the sears &table & floor and table is not clean as well ... there is a lot to work on because that is not how fairmont is ... am disappointed....

We came late from the airport at almost 10pm which we should check in at 12pm they said that will have a normal rooms not Nile view, which we booked Nile view then we stayed in a suit for almost 1 hour and half then they gave us two room the same one we booked but on of them was two beds which we booked one king bed, the next day we changed to one bed finally.

I have one comment regarding the comfort of the room. I was living in room# 1913 and the noise of the music were heard in my room through the walls. That was annoying to me at night and that couldn't sleep well. On the other hand, I want to thank the manager of the hotel for his care and his great supervision as well as to employee Mohammed Hafiz for his marvelous effort for looking after my comfort and his great services. I stay more than 2 weeks a month in Cairo Fairmont Nile city and am always astonished by permanent kindness of people working here, with a nice smile and welcoming spirit. The Cairo Nile City hotel has nevertheless a clear entertainment orientation making the night party noise and sound sometimes to intrusive int he hotel rooms when you are there to work and sleep.

« Comfortable, well appointed rooms, professional staff, but far too noisy. »

The music from the bar/disco on the main level could be heard all the way in my room on the 21st floor, and was so loud so late at night that I didn't sleep well either night I stayed at the hotel. Very disappointing.

Fairmont is my second home in Egypt. I really like the warm welcome from the door step to the smallest details in my room and how they treat me every time. I like the sitting in the lobby lunch and their hospitality every time i visit. The restutants and the pool also. Never forget the Sky and Bab alnail as well.

« Nice Room but badly effected by Banquest Noise »

I visited for a business trip. Hotel is at a good location. I was on second floor and the window of my room faces banquet hall and its terrace. There were marriage parties and other events that keep happening there which creates lot of noise due to music in the night. In my six days stay, there were two parties and the noise was so strong that it was difficult for me to relax in my room.

« BAD!! »

A very disappointing experience from the check-in... We had to change three rooms because the hotel failed to provide the booked rooms as requested. The customer service is very low, no one answer the phone and reported problems don't get attended to. Basically, we were very disappointed at the level of the service of a Fairmont chain hotel.
