Because the Fairmont Gold lounge was not open when we first visited during Ramadan, we were upgraded to a beautiful suite. We very much appreciated the extra consideration. During our second visit we enjoyed the Fairmont Gold experience. The lounge is beautiful, quiet, and comfortable, and the meals were very good. Most of all, however, we were impressed by every staff member with whom we interacted. They were friendly, gracious, professional, and always addressed us by name — very impressive!

slept only 2 hours . noise all night , terrible night for me, i kept calling for help and no real response (two males from cleaning team entered my room while i was asleep without even knok ( dont distrb sign was on) the location map is wrong so i drove non stop 2 hours for no reason

sheets smelled smoke, but not critical. Dears, I would like to express my gratitudes to you: especially to Saigon Bar, Sky Pool, Spa Staff and to reception. During detailed inspection of invoice of room #706 from 22–26/5-19, I found small but noticeable line, concerning “Pressing laundry” done on 23/5-19 for 121.07 EGP. « After i came back the hotel tock money from my MasterCard 3 times »

Hi My name Is Sina A. And i was visiting Fairmont hotel in cairo 17-18may. After my vacation when i came back to norway i so the hotel has taking out 3 times money from my MasterCard acount. I tried to call And send email And They said yes we are going to fixe it And still They didnt fixe it. So i calld my bank blocked my MasterCard And have used my insurance to Get the money back. This is not how i should be treated in a 5 start luxury hotel. U should investigate Fairmont hotel nile in Egypt. I have all the transaction from my MasterCard that stands Fairmont hotel nile have taking money from my acount. This has been taking my time calling the hotel pay renta for my MasterCard And i got realy scared how a luxury hotel can have so bad workers And staf like this. I have the stafs email And names. Even one of them tock my card when i was there And write down my card info in a papir. Thats something privat They tock from me. Some disappointing aspects to the hotel. Cleanliness of the rooms, particularly the bathroom, was not up to Fairmont standard. Fairmont Gold Lounge services we’re closed for renovation but no mention of this was made at point of booking or of check-in. Car service was haphazard in terms of punctuality and quality.

The staff were so polite and excellent throughout the property. The breakfast was superb! The room had a lovely nile view, and was comfortable and large! The housekeeping was brilliant. We also enjoyed usage of the gym and spa. Thank you!

« The Hotel is Fabulous and the staff were elegant and smart. »

My feelings and thinking about the hotel was turned 180 degrees from very bad to extremely satisfied. This was due to not getting the room we reserved ready (queen bed not King size bed/ then not the right nile view). Then there was other issues which I do not want to mention because I do not want to and I feel I betrayed Mr. Mohammed Kamal (the Duty Manager) who knows about them if I did. Mr. Kamal managed to turn the whole equation in favor of the Hotel ( and fairmont) excellent reputation. Mr. Kamal was very smart, intelligent "and clever" in dealing with those issues to the extent he moved our thinking and feelings from a state of discontent to extremely satisfied. Also not to forget the good manners of the staff especially Mr. Mostafa/ Amin / and Nancy.
