The staff were pleasant....scenery is amazing! The room we got was dimly lit. There were some lights that were not working. In regards to food,we really only enjoyed the high tea and breakfast. Dinner was awful...over salted and overall just not amazing.

« Everything was wonderful except location--cabin was a long, difficult climb from the main lodge and lighting was virtually non-existent. Unacceptable! »

My wife lost her footing and fell in the mud climbing the unlit road from our building to the restaurant during the evening. We called for assistance but waited over 20 minutes then attempted the walk. Everything else was terrific.

« Gorgeous Hotel with superb service »

We loved every bit of our stay at fairmont ! The grounds were absolutely beautiful, the list of available activities was so varied we realized that we should have booked for a longer stay. Service was superb and room had a gorgeous view. Also loved the detailed put into the care of the hotel, such as fresh flowers everywhere and on all tables. My only gripe is that I do think that pricing on the alcoholic beverages was exorbitant though, especially given that the hotel is located not too far away from a well stocked wine cellar (at Chandarana). Bath salts would be a plus! I would absolutely visit again.

The room service was very good But service at the reception was not good they charged me a half board and yet I stayed there only for the night without food. And they didn’t want to listen to us we tried to explain we were staying only for the bed but they insisted even if we were there for the bed we have to pay for a half board. For two nights they charged me Accormondtation fast day 21000 and second night BB 17000 and yet I didn’t change the room I m still trying to figure out how things work at your hotel thank you

Dear Aggrey, Although we are quite surprised and dismayed by the content of your review regarding your stay at Fairmont Mount kneya Safari Club , please rest assured that your comments have been taken onboard and revised by the entire Management team, however we would like to take this opportunity to clarify certain aspects of your review as a simple matter of exactness of the information reported. I am aware that the booking was made on half board for the first night an on bed and breakfast for the second night by your company, which was well explained to the group during checkin.I am also aware you did raise the concern through our Front office team that you hadn't had your dinner on the first night. However, our systems had already generated the rate based on how the booking had been made through your organization. Further to this, our colleagues at the front desk are not able to confirm whether one guest had had his/her meals at check out while on a halfboard rate as it was a group booking with similar instructions. Furthermore, the front office management did rebate the dinner charges from you bill in an effort to make your stay seamless. My apologies for any inconvinienced that we made you go through. At Fairmont, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. « This place totally helps one to detox both mind and body - Awesome! »

I found the hotel very tranquil and restful. My room was really nice and the bathroom was excellent. It had everything I needed without needing to prompt. I liked that there was a walking path that I could use and that it felt safe. The hot water bottle provided and the fire helped to keep us warm and cozy. The food was really good both quality and options. The waiters were attentive and suggested alternatives where needed. The massage was really nice and I am grateful that they let me rest for a while in the room. I needed that. The bush dinner was also very nice - both the area and the service. We ended up staying by the fire for quite a while and this helped us to bond as a team. Overall the experience was worth the value for our money.

It was very exciting stay in your hotel; the air was fresh, food was very good, staff including the guards were very helpful and will greet the visitors. I will make arrangements to visit again However, it is good to show visitors how to switch the bath to get hot water...either there was none or i didn't know how to operate the shower and the bath, water was lukewarm. I did not have hot water. Is it possible to provide iron boxes in the rooms? Although i eventually got an iron box, the first day i had to put up with creased clothes since the laundry was closed when i checked in.
