« A wonderful and adorable stay »

It was such a wonderful stay at Fairmont Beijing hotel, the hotel location is very convenient as it's almost in the center of the shopping areas, restaurants, and a few minutes walk to the subway station. The hotel facilities are so good, the rooms are so wide, clean and well maintained, beds and pillows are so comfortable. However, the best part of my stay was dealing with the amazing staff of the Fairmont Beijing hotel, frankly speaking, they are the best hotel staff I have ever met in China, not only in Beijing, they are so friendly, so nice, so helpful and very welcoming. I would like to show my gratitude to Ms. Journey and the whole Gold Team Members; Diana, Amy, Estella, Alison and Lily who didn't save an effort to let me feel so comfortable and enjoy my stay the best. Special thanks to Diana who cooked me the omelet herself when the cooker was busy one day, I will really never forget such kindness attitude from her side. I definitely recommend everyone who is visiting Beijing to stay in Fairmont Beijing hotel (especially the Gold rooms) and enjoy the luxury and joy of staying among such a wonderful and professional team.

The whole experience is beyond our expectations starts from check-in and walk-in our room. The room has full of amenities with well maintenance in their full function. I would recommend to anyone who wants a great relaxing time during the travel must think first to stay in Fairmont.

Journey and the whole lounge team are always on stand by to meet any kinds of requests. My wife and I stayed for four nights. We had a very enjoyable stay and would not have any hesitation in recommending this hotel. I usually spend 50 or more nights every year in hotel rooms and I am happy to say that the Fairmont Beijing was one of the top three hotels I have stayed at anywhere in the world. Stand outs: - We felt welcomed and appreciated the room upgrade provided in recognition of my Gold Status with Accor - The room had exceptional features including - the massage chair and printer were standouts - Staff were very welcoming with special compliments to the Concierge (Apple Fu) who provided very good advice and recommendations - The fitness facilities (particularly the pool) are of a very high standard

It was good. Comfortable beds, Voss bottles of water provided, lots of channels on TV. Fitness center and swimming pool were clean. However, an iron was not in the room so I had housekeeping bring one to me on the first night. I did not get a fresh bowl of fruit like the last time when I stayed in May.

I started staying at the Fairmont Beijing years ago, as this was the hotel in Beijing for a colleague of mine. My first visits were spectacular. The hotel was fairly full, the staff was top-notch, and even the steakhouse in the hotel was very good. Since then, though, the hotel has deteriorated. Staff is less knowledgeable and accommodating (with some significant exceptions, like the amazing Apple Fu), The Cut is not a place I would make any plans to visit, the rooms all seem to have some sort of mechanical or electrical issue (or both). It's value for money is becoming such that I am not sure I will return.

All the staff in the club lounge were fantastic. In particular, Selina, Daisy, Diana, Lilly and Amber who provided directions to some of Beijing’s attractions. Also the concierge, who explained how to catch the subway.

I really didn’t like my check in experience. I had given my flight number so the desk would have known the time I would arrive. My room wasn’t ready so they spent the next 15 minutes trying to find another room but were unable to get me an upgraded room as part of my Platinum Membership. Breakfast buffet was messy if I got the timing slightly wrong - very crowded but the range of options were fantastic and the chefs were very polite. There needs to be more options of imported beverages in the bar - only 2 local beers were on tap. Check out experience was very bad - there’s a problem with billing where, even though I bought a prepaid room they claimed no money had been taken and this left me concerned about double billing. This issue is on tripadvisor aswell and the problem is still not fixed
