Liked the hotel, happy with the room, the beds were great. We wish we had known the pool was closed for renovation. The remedial options were ok, but time consuming.

The welcoming decoration for my gal's birthday is thoughtful and we really appreciate it. Thank you for the welcome drinks. - It will be nice if you can advise (maybe via small printout) which bars with their operating hours can utilize the welcome drinks vouchers. It is thoughtful that the hotel can arrange complimentary transfer to the sister company for pool facilities., however you should advise the guests before the stay. The biggest disappointment - There is no complimentary parking coupon for hotel guest. Ended up I have to pay $55.70 to get out of the car park to go home and I really find it ridiculous. This is the first hotel that I stay in Singapore that do not provide complimentary parking. Even before the stay, no one advise me there is no complimentary parking and I should go for valet parking that cost me $35, which is still cheaper. But I still find it ridiculous as I join Accor Plus membership, I had a 14 pax dinner at Sze Chuan Court , ordered drinks and snacks from Blue potatoes when we went over to swim, but I can't even get a complimentary parking. Because of this incident, I need to reconsider if I still want to have my next staycation with Fairmont or Swissotel.

« Unprofessional. Terrible! »

How can a hotel cut off its electricity supply from 2am to 6am in the middle of the night? I woke up cos there was no air circulation, it was hot and stuffy. Terrible sleep which impacted my performance the next day in meetings. Furthermore, no one told me about this when I made the booking or when I checked in. If I was told, I wouldnt have booked my stay. Terrible. I will not come back.

I was planning to have a short trip to Singapore and found the Fairmont might be a good choice; overall is fine but I did not know the electricity will be off for a couple of hours except I checkin that night. To be honest, not much inflect for the power shortage a few hours except it was a bit hot, if there was a warning message before I made the reservation or before I check it, it will make me more comfortable.

I understand that renovation is on-going which is good. Unfortunately, I couldn't stay in my room between 10am-6pm as it was really very noisy. I would still stay at Fairmont but not during renovation.

We spent one nights here for my wife's birthday and short get away. The location of the hotel is exactly in the center of the heart of Singapore. Thanks to upgrade my room due to my wife's birthday compliment and she is really happy. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Not as bad as the one from Feb/March stay. But defintely does not meet our expectation. Perhasp this is due to the remodelling of the buildings. But advance notifications can help to improve the situation

We are so pleased for the warm hospitality of Don and his team (hope I remember it correctly) during our stay. My request was granted since it was our anniversary celebration. Although we never experienced to plunge into the pool since it is under renovation. The room was great! It os a corner room that you can enjoy the flyer view at night. The staffs were polite and very helpful. Again, thank you for the great experienced and hope to stay there again.

First I want to thank to let us to keep luggage when we arrive, stay here because my birthday and staycation for a week around Malaysia and Singapore for my short birthday trip . Thank you for surprise , they put my fav cake a cheese cake and for the best of the best is they give us a marina bay view . At least as my request before they tell us the south tower is under construction. They have halal food. But for advise I found 3 pcs blonde hair on sink, maybe the housekeeping have to more detail for cleanliness. And we we arrive we have a little weird question , when doorman said are you find a job here ? Maybe just because we are young travel with backpack not with suitcase . But after we show our confirmation booking , he show us, the lobby . Or This how Singaporean being friendly, well we ok for that. Just Incase if you ask with somebody is a bit weird question, I think can I help you is enough question. And thanks for running suite , they are so detail what I like.

The hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly . We very able to get around the area very easily with the help of concierge . The rooms was clean when we returned . The gym facilities was good as we use it every other day . Pity the pool was closed .

I stayed on the 19th floor of this hotel as i was resting for A night and 2 days from a conference in Brisbane Australia. The hotel staff were kind enough to bring me a bucket of ICE which lasted all night to help me treat a painful knee. The Breakfast at Swissotel was awesome. The view of all the beautiful sites of Singapore was great. The Concierge was particularly helpful in advising where to find Asian food, how to get to the Cable car and Senosa resorts etc. The location is perfect for shopping, food and walking round the city at night.

The room is on the 7th floor, for connecting room. For that reason neighbor is noisy. The noise of the construction work of the upper floor very noisy. Next time we will request a quiet room. For others I was very happy with the service by staff at Fairmont hotel.
