« Lack of warmth during the stay »

The stay was with my girlfriend and we were on a leisure trip for our vacation. It started off on a good note with Ms.Nina greeting us at the reception. Post check-in formalities when we went to our room we say that although our request for an upgrade was met but an Interconnecting room was given to us without any information. I requested for the room to be changed which was done spontaneously and we did not mind any of the services till then. When we went to the other room, while using the washroom we noticed that the sink was blocked so we informed the telephone operator and requested engineering assistance, which took 20 minutes and one reminder call to get fixed. After a tiring journey we were hustling around for comfort, this was not a pleasing experience. Later during the evening we requested for some white wine glasses and a wine chiller in our room since we were carrying our own wine, we were blatantly told on our faces that ice for the wine chiller will be chargeable, which we thought was irrational. During the breakfast timings we had reached 10 mins before the buffet gets closed and we had picked up our food l, but still post the breakfast timings we were told to vacate the restaurant since the housekeeping had to clean the restaurant. Overall the services weren't used extensively by us but the lack of warmth will not make us choose Accor hotels for our vacations again.

« Executive club staff exceptional »

Roxanne Belle Sky and Zara should be highly commended on their customer service - we usually stay in only 5 star hotels- these staff members belong in a 5star hotel. The hotel is very tired and is in desperate need of a revamp. The executive club needs to be taken up a few notches also I terms of what is available to the customer. We arrived around 9.30 pm after a long flight- however could not have anything at the club- this should be pointed out to consumers.

The property needs pest control. There were Cockroaches at the breakfast area which were spotted all the 4 days of our stay . I had raised this concern to the staff how can one have breakfast if there are cockroaches on the table .Their response was the furniture is getting old that's the reason Cockroaches are sign of unhygienic condition in kitchen hope the hotel takes my comment seriously

The pillows in my room smelled of bacteria and mold. It took 3 days for the staff to resolve the issue. When resolved I only received 2 pillows not mute original 4. I feel like the spark has died down in this hotel.

The receptionist was wonderful and gave us our preferred room. Food was GREAT. The staff was very helpful. The only con was that the rooms were not properly swept sometimes and one time you ran out of towels which was weird.

« Not worth for holidays, the stay was full of stress and was challenging getting complaints sorted. »

The Hotel houses only 4 lifts and it was always challenging getting up and down, waiting time at the lifts was 10mins every time. Specially during checkout time, we waited more than 20mins and eventually had to carry our luggage via staircase as the airport pickup was waiting and the lifts were busy. There should be a provision for service lifts to take the luggage in a timely manner. Another problem was understanding of the issues by the housekeeping staff. In our room there was issue with the lights, The lights were not closing and every day we had to lodge a complaint and the engineer use to come and to temporary fix. Upon our strong complaint the management attended on the 3rd day which was too late as we stayed for 3days and 2days were stressful because of the issues with the lights. The Hotel manager sent us the letter of apology but that has no value as our holiday was spoilt already, The hotel manager did not felt necessary to personally meet us and clarify the issues, whenever i asked the reception that i want to persoanally speak with the manager they told he is busy and will call you later which never happened. Very unprofessional indeed. In future i will never stay with Swissotel Phuket niether will recommend to anyone. The restaurant at breakfast time was so busy that we had to wait 10-15mins to get a table for our family and the attendent at the restaurant is not courteous enough to explain the issue and just only tells to wait. again very unprofessional way of handlig the problems.

It was a fantastic stay with your hotel, it's very comfortable, next beside the hotel, have a lot of entertainment to choose. However, room 330 I have been stay for 7 days, everyday when we back to the room, there is always had some moldy smell, even we ask for air refreshment, is not help, seem like a long time room have no one stay in that type of room. Daily we were ask for room make up, the problem happen with us that is the towel always not refill complete, daily we ask it, and housekeeping send to us, but that towel not what we need, the other time we went out somewhere for half day, when we back to room, nothing refill even room not clean clearly, at last we found out there are two fly in our room, that so nasty.
