« Well organized check-in. »

It was a pleasant experience, nevertheless here are two potential improvements - I had a BB booking, but my room was not on the breakfast list; which led me to have a formal check-out to make sure I did pay enough; Synchro between reception and breakfast side was not optimal for me. (It happens no worry) - I would recommend cleaning the rain shower it was containing still a lof of sediments; which was preventing having a full rain. I did clean it myself, it tooks me 1 minute. Otherwise, employees are really friendly and polite; really appreciated.

I stayed 5 nights. The heating system of my room was broken , I was freezing at night. I let the lady at the reception know about the situation the first morning after , evidently she didn’t reCt cause the heating system was still broken and I got sick cold, was a cold weather in Paris the last that you feel is to come back to the hotel after a rainy day and find a freezing room . As well the cleaner was not doing her job as it should , the room was half cleaned, she left cleaning tools inside the room and she disturbed us every single morning , although We hung in the door knob , do not disturb. As well I let the receptionist know about the cleaning situation, she didn’t react. It wasn’t till the 3 night , Saturday 26th when the Man at the Bar was the most helpful person I ever meet , he went with me to the room check by himself that the heating was broken , that the room was freezing cool and he offered me to change the room , the room was worst but at least was warm. As well one day I asked in the Salon for two cups for the room , I got question , for what do you want the cups? Well I may need to take medicine or maybe your cleaning least didn’t clean and refilled the paper cups of the room , which she didn’t . Overall , disappointment , I stayed at other Mercury hotel in Paris and this hotel is far far from the others , not in style or acomodarían but in service.

« Almost perfect »

Almost everything was perfect. Our room was confortable and well equipped , the staff were all extremely helpful and friendly and we both enjoyed the patio and general decoration. The only thing that we did not like was one guest, a elderly man with two dogs (one with 3 legs). He was extremely rude to us on two separate occasions and was always in the bar so was quite difficult to avoid. The staff apologized and informed us that he stays for several months at a time. Even though I understand that this guest must be profitable for the hotel, I don’t think he should be allowed to stay as I believe he ruins other guests experiences.

- Friendly staff - Nice designed room - Room service menu very difficult to find/TV not working properly - Person delivering my room service was noticeably sick - Water pressure in shower was not great - Shower gel was empty - There were some leftover food items in the fridge from the guest before me

« Pathetic Service by Staff!! »

The hotel staff was very rude all the time.There were some clean packed plates in my room which I bought from grocery store for 5 €.The hotel cleaning staff threw my plates and spoons.When I ask for refund, the staff refused.I will share this feedback with all my friends and relatives in india.Total rip off!! Give me my 5 € refund atleast

Monsieur S., We have taken note about your comments following your stay at Hotel Mercure Paris 17 Batignolles. I confirm that when the housekeeping clean the rooms, their role is to clean everything dirty to ensure you an impeccable service. So they threw the dishes that drag in your room with worries to do well. We are a 4 * hotel and on your request, room service would have been able to provide you with forks, knifes and plates to consume food from an outdoor shop. For information, we have very good feedback from our many customers about the quality of service offered in this hotel and the kindness of my teams, so I am very surprised of your comment. Very good clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Travelling around Paris was not best of places for Metro. Travelling by Bus was very good when correct bus stop found as Google Maps were very difficult to follow, and always meant asking public for directions. Breakfast expensive at €18

« Nice but on the basic side »

The first stay the room was nice and had a nice shower with a coffee machine. The second stay felt cramped and not adjusted for tall people. The room was smaller, the shower was cramped (not good for tall people) and for some reason this room did not have a coffee machine. My experience started positive and ended on the negative side

All the staff was nice and welcoming. All of them were saying hello, which is not always easy to find in hotels :-). Room was very nice, clean and with a good size. I liked the fact that the hotel is modern and not dusty. Breakfast was good. I just missed a capucinno.

I booked The biggest suits specially for the balcony and when I arrived to the hotel I got surprised that I can not have access to the balcony I go down and checked with the lady in the reception and she told me in a rude way that I can not have that without any explanation and in unprofessional way and she refuse to change the room for me until another employee came and change the room which was not satisfy for me. then later in the night I parked my car just in front of the hotel and ask the guy in the reception if my parking was ok and he said yes 100%. next day police took my car and I had to pay 180 Euro.

Well located, internally quiet stay, comfortable bed but let down by a lack of in room amenities with only 1 bottle of multi purpose shower product that was awful for my hair.

« Ok hôtel with basic amenities »

The staff are kind but not very knowledgeable. They did not know for instance that the day we were staying was “car-less Sunday” and instead of looking it up for us to inform us how we could live around on that day, suggested we do this ourselves. The hotel rooms are very basic, no amenities at all, and rather small. Only positive points is that the beds are very comfortable.
