I checked in at 8th of July. During check in I got room 501. When I entered the room, I was found that it was one of the smallest rooms in the hotel - single room with single bed. I opened the hotel site and found that a lot of better rooms available - standard double and superior rooms. So I had to go back to the reception and ask for the room upgrade - which I did first time at all since I got Platinum status a long time ago. Finally I got room with double bed, # 505, but now looks like I have to ask for upgrade during initial check-in

The staff were fairly grumpy I was given the wrong food in the bar but then they claimed it was correct Ordered 2 beers and they brought 3 out to me and wouldn't take the last one back. the aircon in the room was switched to heat when the temp was 37 degrees outside generally wouldn't stay there again

The best thing was having air con in the heatwave! Check in and out was a breeze. Friendly reception staff who greeted us each time we passed. Clean, well-equipped room. Only thing we didn't try was the food/drink.

The hotel is not what I normally expect from a Mercure. The check-in was slow, the rooms are extremely small and only half of the elevators worked when I was there. The contact with the employees was ok.

Mercure Hotels have their up and downs. What I liked was the Garage with lots of space and possibility to directly reach the hotel. Furthermore the breakfast with great staff who were very friendly and had full attention on the guest. Furthermore breakfast starts at 6am (not 6:30am like in other hotels) and at exactly 6am EVERYTHING is available and fully ready to begin a great breakfast Furthermore with almost 38 degrees outside the cooled breakfast room was very relaxing. What I didn't like was that my room didn't have a fridge. How can that be? I have special beverages as I am allergic against most beverages in mini bars. But with 38 degrees on that day I had to drink it warm. Very disapointing

« Very good hotel... just damage the departing day »

Hotel very clean, new design, room big with perfect tv, bathroom staff was kind at the check-in, at all the joung boys were very kindly IT HAS NOT BEEN THE SAME ABOUT THE WOMEN, expecially the which one (short hairs, not tall and average body) who at departing day (exactly at midday!) comes into my room to say me to go away for check out! I found it very poor, exactly counting the time to make me leaving the room, and with a very unfriendly mood. At the and, the receptionist talked to me in german, although she knew I was stranger (style as "i'm kind, but u r leaving so dont give fck")

« First and last time in this hotel! Really bad expecience »

Although I had my reservation guaranteed by credit card, to assure the proper reservation of the room, it was requested to pay in advance the entire amount already in the check-in process. First time that this happens to me, more even in a Mercure hotel. Then I have requested the invoice, and I was told that they could only give it to me on the check-out. When I tried to do the check-out (previous night), the invoice was not available, they said they could only send it by mail because they could not print it again (?! strange?!). I gave my email and asked to have it in the next morning. I realized that the invoice was not sent by email. I went into the reception, and the invoice was there (already printed!), and no explanation was given. The assistant was not friendly, and even complained because I was requesting the invoice related to my stay in the hotel which I had already made the payment on the check-in. In terms of the room, it was really basic, small bathroom, without any space in the sink to put my stuff. Wardrobe very small, no even a single drawer to put my clothes. No complimentary water in the room. Price paid (229 EUR in the first night) compared to what was offered was really high. Breakfast also very basic, few choices of fresh bread, no cooked eggs, no bacon, no choices lactose-free milk. From the 2 elevators, only one was working, with long time of waiting. In some cases, the elevator was fully occupied, several tomes, with the cleaning persons and their materials. For sure a hotel not to repeat! And to my colleagues, I will also not recommend them. It is close to the office, but for sure an option not to consider.

We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. The payment in advane during check in a standard procedure at our hotel. An invoice can only be prepared one day in advance as it is not possible to correct it after that. You usually can ask for a receipt directly after payment. Accor hotels had a problem with the configuration of alle printer in the hotel group. Due to this we not able to prepare invoice as usual. Lactose -free products can always be received by our colleagues at the buffet. In the near future we are going to renew our elevators completely so more comfort will be given here. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of.
