A very comfortable and welcoming place to stay; great bed, very good room and shower, an enjoyable experience. what more can I say to fill up the space so you can read my experience of this hotel? once upon a time there was a request for a hotel review.... « Amazing Hotel ! »

We discovered this hotel on our way to Blenheim ! The hotel look lovely ! There is a fresh smell in the reception , in the rooms in the restaurant ! The receptionist checked us very fast , he told us about all hotel facilies , eating hours , gym hours , the wi-fi is free , the parking is free ! room was spacious , and very clean , the restaurant staff is very well trained , the food got fast on our table and everything looked and tasted great ! We will return !

« Annoyed when we arrived »

Although I booked two rooms at the same time, I was annoyed when we arrived to find that our friends' room was on the other side of the courtyard. This was unacceptable and asked reception if they could move us to nearby rooms, which was arranged. However, on our second day we were all unable to use our keycards as they had been blocked (most probably as a result of the rooms being changed).

Very nice hotel , next to j6 on m40 , the hotel staff is very well trained , the check in was done very fast , the receptionist is very well prepared , he told us the hours for breakfast , dinner also gave us our cream tea included in our package , wi-fi is free , parking is free , the room was very big , clean , the restaurant has plenty of choices for dinner , the staff know what to offer combined with the perfect wine , the breakfast was also amazing. Overall very satisfied. I felt that you maybe needed more staff for the wedding reception as service was quite slow but the staff that were there worked extremely hard and efficiently. As I am undergoing chemotherapy, my daughter asked for a quiet room away from the main event so I could rest when needed. I was very happy with the room. Thank you. Also, your staff were so helpful in meeting my needs. e.g.. heating my soup as I can't eat normal food. Again, thank you. My husband was very impressed with your restaurant manager that he asked every table, after every course, if everything was ok. The food was very good. We would have no hesitation in recommending your hotel.

Booking - excellent Reception - efficient Room - satisfactory Checkout - efficient Breakfast - appalling no clean tables no clean bowls service closed before we could select any cooked items staff refused to allow us to serve ourselves with items that were already on the buffet This experience stayed with me most of the day - I had been really looking forward to a relaxed breakfast, I understand that no-one died however it was so far from the experience that I was expecting. I will be writing directly to the hotel manager to complain and seek compensation.

Dinner took over three hours for three courses and we were told this wa was normal. Each time we asked we were told that the course was on its way and it wasn't. The cream curdled in the coffee. On Saturday morning after breakfast we asked at the bar for a coffee and were told no. Eventually directed to coffee machine in the breakfast buffet which had been turned off and it was a mission to find someone to turn it on. We worked it out for ourselves in the end. We were there for a good friend's wedding. I have to say that Vlade was very good and helpful.
