I stayed at the hotel for two nights - the staff were very helpful and friendly. My only complaint was that I had my 1 year old twin grandsons with me and there was only one useable high chair in the restaurant and two in the wedding party room - and there were 3 children requiring high chairs. My room was clean and comfortable.

My granddaughter and I have been staying here for the past 5years as part of our Harry Potter trips. The staff are always helpful,polite and friendly. We always stay in the Superior Barn accommodation which is clean,comfortable and a lovely atmosphere and we have a good nights sleep. The food at breakfast and in the evening in the Bar is very satisfying and well presented.The grounds of the hotel are wonderful for my granddaughter to run around and play and are extensive and relaxing. The hotel is very beautiful and just wonderful. We love returning and will be coming back very soon. There is a play park next to the hotel which is great fun after a long drive for my granddaughter to run around in.

The hotel served its purpose and the staff were very friendly, specifically the man on reception (I think he was called Ethan), he made us feel extremely welcome after such a long journey. The room was nice, although I did expect something a little bit luxurious as I had booked a superior double, the latch on the window was also broken so we could not close it. However it was comfortable and had everything we needed. I had made a note that I was vegan, so the option of vegan milk for my tea in the room may have been a nice touch. I marked my score down due to my experience with ACCOR HOTELS. I was actually booking for a stay in August but I had a lot of trouble with the website and it changed the date to May, I only realized once the email confirmation came through. As soon as I realized I tried to call straight away to explain and change the date. I was told that due to the policy of not being allowed to change the date that there was nothing I could do, by an extremely unhelpful man. I then logged an email on the website to explain again in the hope that they would realise that it was the websites error rather than me trying to change a booking for the sake of it. I did not get a reply for a week, by which time the visit that had been booked was only a couple of days away and I had changed all of my plans in order to use the booking so I did not waste my money. So we drove down (5 hours) to stay one night so that I didn't waste the money. I still need my booking for August but I am not booking through ACCOR HOTELS and I would like to have the direct number for the hotel to book directly.

Lack of staff to man bar area. Used plates and glasses everywhere again lack of staff. Room 53 has a generator near or above that consistently fired up through the night so no sleep ! Meats and cheeses for breakfast consisted of plastic ham pink fatty salami and triangles of processed cheese ! Hardly exciting ! Complained to front desk about room to be met with a smile and a half hearted apology ....beautiful hotel grounds and a very tired and dirty pool . Management should retrain it’s staff and Rota enough staff to cover all areas even when there is a private function going on . Disappointed

Friendly staff, but lack of organizational skills contributed to our room we booked not the same when we arrived. We have two daughters and the room offered was to sleep one child! We then got upgraded to the best separate cottage with plenty of room, which we thought was great! We were showed into the cottage and got settled, then five minutes later was told to vacate and we were moved to a smaller room. A complimentary drink was offered as compensation. We took advantage of the indoor swimming pool (which was in major need of redecorating). The more alarming issue was there was no arm bands available for our two girls. They were locked in a cage. There was no pool attendant and I tried get the hotel staffs attention through the CCTV in the pool, but no one came. In the end I had to run to the restaurant in my trunks to get a member of the hotel staff to contact reception. Still no one came. Then another guest kindly went to reception. When the lady finally arrived at the pool we were told the arm bands were for people with swimming lessons and not part of the hotel!! The safety of children should be paramount! We went for an evening meal at a local restaurant and arrived back at around 8:30pm. Around 9:30pm the loud noises coming from the room above ours was ridiculous. I waited and thought it would subside, it didn’t, so I decided to call reception. I was informed the Air-Con room was directly above and depending the demand usage they could not guarantee its silence. We all didn’t get to sleep until 2:00am! When then had to get up earlier for our Warner Bros studio tour, which we were now shattered and was evident throughout the day, waking around for 6hrs... Overall a complete waste of money and bruised memories for our daughters Harry Potter experience.

My granddaughter and I have stayed at Hunton Park Hotel for the past 5 years and are never disappointed. We always stay in the Superior Barn Block and have the same room on each stay.The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food at the breakfast buffet and at the Bar is very good,cleanliness and comfort of the room enhance our top quality sleep,great atmosphere of the hotel and the grounds are fabulous for children to play in,the location to Harry Potter studio are excellent. This is our No.1 hotel to stay. There is a play park just next to the hotel which my granddaughter enjoys as well, plus the small swimming pool within the hotel is very enjoyable and we make the most of each stay.

We came for just one night as we had a family party in the area. We were welcomed at the desk, then various members of staff helped us find our room as we were a bit clueless. The room was fine, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom door looks like it has gotten wet once too often. We walked to and from our venue and the driveway wasn't lit. Was quite dark and I walked down a dip, luckily I didn't hurt myself. Overall the stay was fine.

Stayed here to visit the Harry Potter studios. Very helpful staff were great at checkin, and the room was nice. The cleaning could have been a bit better, as we did find left over cleaning products from the previous stay... Breakfast was nice and at a good price. Very good location to Harry Potter studios and plenty of free parking.

It didn’t start off well I must say. We stayed here for a friend’s wedding. We arrive at 2.30pm and there was a long queue at reception with only one person manning it. Lots of people around us were complaining too. We were in the queue for at least half an hour before we managed to check in. The hotel itself was lovely, with lots of land outside, a pool, the breakfast selection was good and the room was cosy. The wedding went smoothly, although there seemed to have been a mix up with my food at dinner (I stayed I was vegetarian but kept being offered the fish dish).

We were staying for our tenth wedding anniversary, having got married here ten years ago. We arrived for drinks in the bar didn’t have the first bottle we asked for then second choice nothing cold. Poor quality for price charged. The bed was horrific hardly slept as you got in the whole frame moved the mattress needs replacing not at all comfortable. Not even bottled water available in the room. Was supposed to be your most superior room , and actually the honey moon suite. We felt we shouldn’t have re visited as we were both so disappointed.

We stayed here for our visit to the Warner brothers studio tour. Clean, good facilities, extremely helpful staff especially the front desk, and Grace in the restaurant who helped my picky eater 10yo find something she liked for breakfast (off menu nutella panckes!)

We had a great stay. However the pool area could get some needed maintenance. Upon check out a mistake was made with the payment. As this stay was a gift and already paid for, the room was paid twice. I do hope the room fee will be credited as promised (100 GBP)
