Nice convenient location, beds were super comfortable.Easy to access and great parking nearby.Only a 10minute walk to the city and Sth bank.Breakfast was included which was very fresh and delisted.Highly recommended

We had a fantastic time staying here. It was close to all the amenities and the hotel was great. Our room had city view and our kids loved looking out through the windows. They want to come again soon.

« Lovely hotel, so conveniently located to MECC »

The room was beautifully appointed and enjoyed stunning view across the city. Staff were polite, professional and helpful. I was greeted with a warm smile every time I arrived and departed the hotel. Food was delicious! I highly recommend this hotel for any stays in Melbourne and especially so if you are attending events at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre.

« Very new interior, convenient location! »

1) Location + Room: Very convenient. Booked Novotel South Wharf as it was near Crown Casino and DFO South Wharf. It was also walking distance to South Melbourne Market, Spotlight, Woolsworth in the same area. You can walk 15 minutess or take the tram to get to the CBD. The hotel is very new, the interior is beautiful, the beds were clean, and the view from the room was amazing :) 2) Service / Member Recognition Very polite and friendly staff. Was recognised as Accor (Gold) and given early check-in (8am), room upgrade, welcome amentiy (chocolate), welcome drinks and late check-out (1pm). Thank you so much! Clearly checked all the right boxes, it was hospitality done right! 3) Breakfast Tried the breakfast, the variety was not as extensive as hoped (only a small corner buffet actually). However, the staff made us eggs to our liking. All in all, it was an excellent stay, would definitely return!

The iron I had tripped the power as it was very old however someone came up immediately to fix it and the iron was also replaced. Very quick response to the problem which I appreciated. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and room spotless. All facilities that I needed were there

No issues nor problems whatsoever during my first stay at Novotel South Wharf. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable and clean. The food was above average too.

Paying $1052 a week before my stay then having to pay another 100 dollars surety is a disgrace. I trusted you with my money a week before I stayed and your company could not trust me although o had already stayed at the hotel before. By taking 100 dollars - which still has not been refunded - and a copy of my licence is embarrassing and typical of risk adverse corporates. It is rubbish you are friendly and provide a great service as the cleaning of my room was minimal and different times so I didn’t know when or if it would be cleaned. By taking another $100 and a copy of my licence shows no trust. You will probably say people damage rooms or take from the mini bar but have some faith especially when people have stayed there before and have paid over $1000 a week prior.

We would like to appreciate the hospitality extended by George Gomez. He made my daughter feel welcome and was very helpful. A big thanks to George and Udara for all the assistance and making us feel at home. Would only be staying at Novotel from now on. Kudos to your team for having such great employees.

Overall - very good. Would like to see more plant-based menu options. And, whilst the quality of the food was very good, it was also surprisingly expensive. The air-freshener smell at concierge was too much, it was overwhelming! Would like to see more real pot plants dotted about the hotel. The music choice at breakfast was sometimes not ideal. Perhaps music soothing music would be preferably. Otherwise, staff were super friendly and always helpful, the room was in immaculate condition, my stay was seamless and stress-free, the location of the hotel (for my purposes) was excellent. I would definitely stay again.

Lovely comfy bed and room. Great bar and restaurant. The only down side was the shower was quite cold. We have stayed here twice now and both times we have had cold showers.

It was a lovely stay. All staff were friendly helpful and professional. The room was clean and fresh and beautifully presented. Unfortunately drinks in the lounge area before our event were served very slowly - the gentleman at the bar was very polite and professional but one person seemed to struggle with the amount of customers. Drinks ordered to our room also took a very long time to appear.

I asked day before check out whether I can settle the bill, they said I will need to wait until the check out day since the room rates are only charged after midnight. I told her I had an early departure and don't want to be held up with check out. apparently there was nothing they can do. next morning I was checking out, the card machine didn't work, swiped my card numerous times. I asked, you have swiped my card during check in just charge it to the same card. apparently no, they need to swipe my card again.
