I like the retro ambience. thats about it. Swimming pool is not nice. Gym is adequate. Breakfast buffet is adequate for few days stays but come 4th day its kind of the same.

« Great Room and Great Location at Affordable Price »

I like the layout of the room. It was spacious. The shower was also great; the best I've ever have in such hotel. It is also closed (walking distance) to the legendary Tunjungan Street and Tunjungan Plaza. However, the gym and the swimming pool was not great. It seems a bit creppy on one side of the swimming pool and the water was kind of dirty and full of chemical.

We love the gardens, tranquil environment, and excellent hospitality of the entire staff of the hotel. Please if possible, polish the furniture, bathroom utensils, etc. periodically to keep the rooms bright. During Moslem Lebaran, Christmas and New Year period, arrange some activities/feast.

« very disappointing stay, mismanaged hotel »

We came back because our first stay was above our expectation. Unfortunately, we were disappointed in our second stay 1. The room: the AC is broken down and we cannot adjust the temperature. Instead, the fan must be kept going on to cool down the room...will you expect your AC does not work when you stay in a 5-star hotel??? 2. The receptionist: no welcome drink and when we reported our room was not properly set, the receptionist said: I am sorry for the chaotic because our manager is on holiday and no one manages this....omg, should I care about your manager being on holiday?? 3. When we check out, the receptionist made a mistake that we consumed two beers in the fridge. There was no beer in the fridge at all!! Can your team check the stock carefully before and after guests come?? 4. Afternoon tea: unlike other luxury hotel afternoon tea, they do not provide re-fill when you are done with your cup of coffee. I just wonder, do they really expect people can swallow three sandwiches, two spring rolls, and three tarts, only with one small cup of coffee???? the whole afternoon tea experience is so indecent.

We spent two days at this wonderful hotel. The rooms are divine, the ground are impeccable and the breakfast's fantastic. My only criticism is the upstairs restaurant (We swapped tables due to the dirty tablecloth, only to sit at another dirty table) and the smelly bar.

It was my first experience to stay at hotel majapahit. Actually I always want it, but since the ghost story about the hotel then I never think to stay here. But when our team agree to choose this hotel as the venue for our reunion, I decided to stay. Unfortunately, there such no horror experience. Meanwhile, I really enjoy it. Especially, I really love to take photos and this place have a lot wonderful spots to explore.

« Great Stay »

We had a quick overnight at the Majapahit, but it was very memorable. The rooms are nice and large. The service was excellent. We met the Manager in the morning who personally walked us to breakfast, and then gave us a special tour of the property before we had to leave for the airport. We loved learning and seeing this special piece of Java’s history and hope to return one day.
