I checked in and the lady told me i had B&B. I sadi no i have dinner, bed and breakfast and had to provide my confirmation email. My card didn't work first time and i had to go back to reception. I was on the ground floor which isn't very comforting for a solo female traveller. Dinner was a nightmare from start to finish. My waitress didn't know what i was allowed with dinner included in my price. She then went and got someone else who didn't know either and went off. This went back and forth for about 15 minutes. Room was nice, fairly clean but didn't have a desk to work from.Checkout - well where do i begin? Disaster. There was 3 people trying to check me out while ignoring the queue behind me. A lady was shouting that she was going to miss her meeting. They couldn't confirm if the account card had already been charged (i asked this the nigth before) and then when they decided it hadn't didn't recognise my particular card and were having prpblem taking the charge. Nightmare. and wouldn't stay again.

I found the staff welcoming and professional. In particular Shahid who drew directions for me to the next town (I had no satnav) and if I got lost to phone him at the hotel and he would guide me back. So nice. Our room was very clean and comfortable and I LOVED the huge tv. Definitely getting one when I go home! I will choose Novotel again. Thank you. Bronwyn

Very helpful and polite staff both at reception and in the restaurant. Comfortable and quiet room. Enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant - my tuna was perfectly cooked! Breakfast was good - apart from the weak coffee which isn't what you need at 4.30AM!! Please fix the coffee machine so that it supplies STRONG coffee!

Once checked in it was fine but the queue for check in was virtually out of the door due to only 1 person on the desk and the lenghth of time to process each person. There was a group of 6 of us and we had an engagement that we had to attend so therefore we had to abandon check in, put our luggage back in the cars and try again later that night. Totally unnacceptable for what is obviously a busy hotel.
