I really enjoyed my stay , the check in procedure at the hotel was welcoming , professional, and friendly, the room was to a high standard of presentation, with very good facilities etc, I had an evening meal at the bar and found the two young members of staff extremely professional and knowledgeable, and once again like many members of staff friendly, I was surprised later to hear that they were quite new to the role, they were a credit to the accor group, i did have a minor problem with my meal, which i discussed with the bar manager/ supervisor, he dealt with it and notedly comments and i was very satisfied with the result, he also was extremely knowledgeable and very good in his role. I also found the transfer busses between the airport/hotel very good and reliable. I would definitely use this hotel again

« Disturbed all night due noise »

There was a party being held at the hotel. The party guests ran around the hallways all night making a lot of noise. If the event rooms are used the guests should be kept away from the rooms. I got about an hour sleep all night and was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. I used this hotel a lot before when it was a Hilton and never had a problem.

« Not as good as usual »

I stay here regularly for work (up to 9 or 10 nights per month). Usually very happy. This time there was a bad smell in the room similar to sour milk, which seemed like it was coming from the bathroom although I couldn’t find a source. I didn’t want to move rooms as I had injured a leg and this room was very close to the lift so minimal walking was preferable.

« Amazing »

Lovely stay at the Novotel, rooms where lovely with tea and coffee making facilities in room. Staff were very friendly. food in the restaurant was beautiful and the waiter Dimitar made our whole experience even better, making us laugh and very friendly. Only issue was that the shower in room was not very powerful, other than this my stay was incredible

« Brilliant hotel for a stopover, but poorly managed »

I know this hotel well and it is a bright modern and very comfortable place and a great place to stopover for an early flight. Too bad that I was heavily delayed by poor management and literally had to run to make my plane. Leaving people who are on their first day at the reception on their own unsupervised is unacceptable and this happened both in the evening when I arrived and in the morning. People need time to learn and pick up the job, so I do not blame the people but management for deciding that guests can make do with whoever was available. It's actually quite shocking.

« Rude bus driver - increased rate for ryanair stuff »

When I arrived at the airport and wanted to take the bus to the hotel I requested to stop at the Ryanair Simulator and bus driver refused to take me plus he was very rude and impolite. I totally understand that there where others who were using the bus service and not using the hotel but at least one should show the reservation to the bus driver to provide that service.

Hotel room was very nice; pleasant, clean and comfortable. The coffee machine could have more information to let guests know one is de-caffeinated (denoted by red dot in middle of coffee capsule) and a wider selection of tea would be good! The main point I wanted to raise though is overnight parking charge seemed excessive (£8 but not the point - other hotels in the group have parking for free), presumably the charge is there because it is close to the airport and guests have few alternatives without incurring larger fees elsewhere. Also, as someone with an electric car, I am surprised that the hotel has not got a charger installed - a couple of slow ones would be particularly useful so that guests could park and charge simultaneously. Just a thought and shows a corporate social responsibility commitment.

A fabulous stay, just a pity we had to get up so early for a flight, but fantastic that a tasty breakfast was being served at 0400hrs. Gret room, especially having shower stall instead of bath/shower.
