After Changing rooms Because Air con didn't work.Room was fine and had a comfortable stay for the night,Comfy Beds and Feather Pillows. As Always a good clean comfortable stay. Nice meal in Restaurant Rather pricey for what you get.Will stay again when Travelling away.Good deal with room and Parking.

Arrived on the 12th of July around 15h30 and checked in. Left the room at 19h00 to go to work and when I got back just before 4 am, I was surprised with someone sleeping in “my bed”. At the front desk I’ve been told “we found a key of your room in the check out box and we didn’t know if you checked out or not, we tried to call you”. Exactly, they didn’t know! And I had the room until the 13th, what an excuse. I only had one room key that was with me, so I don’t know what key they found or what number they tried to call because my phone remained silent. My belongings were in a room behind the front desk. Can’t believe they actually thought I had checked out when they were cleaning my room and so “carefully” packing all my stuff inside a plastic bag. Eventually I was given another room and when I got there and checked my belongings, my two Apple chargers were missing and still missing until today! (Still waiting to hear something back from the hotel). Weird that in the bag I found my worn cables that in the room were right next to the shiny chargers. Another trip to the front desk and the lady there gave me her own charger, but that doesn’t clean all this mess. They were quite lucky that was 4 in the morning and I couldn’t be bothered to write a formal complaint. Anyway, from September I was planning to stay more than a month at Novotel London Stansted Airport for working purposes, but now I don’t think it’s going to happen. And all my friends and colleagues that have to go to Stansted for the same reason I’ve been, I will advise them to stay somewhere else.

« Room was excellent the meal we had was appalling. »

We have stayed at the hotel on numerous occasions and always been very happy with the service and accommodation. However, the meal in the restaurant on our last visit was sadly disgraceful. My wife ordered a stir fry and found that most of the vegetables had not been cooked so her meal was a mixture of hot and cold. I ordered pizza, which I’d had on a previous occasion and it was excellent. However, this time the first one that was served was cold. The second one took so long to arrive that my and Father had both finished their meals. This time half the pizza was cooked and the other half was burnt and the only taste was charcoal. The base had been changed from thin crust to thick, which meant that the bottom still tasted of flour. I didn’t eat must and when it was taken away I brought it to the attention of the server who wasn’t really interested. When paying I again mention it to Dimitri ( I apologise if I have spelt his name incorrectly) who had been very attentive on this occasion and on previous visits. He was extremely helpful and summonsed the manager, but sadly all too late. If this had been our first visit we would not have returned again.

« Perfect place to overnight before flight »

Hassle free other than that my request on booking some weeks earlier for a ground floor room had not been met on this occasion, however I was then given a ground floor room designated for restricted mobility persons that was still available. The thermostat control did not seem to be functioning as it should and to cool the room down, I opened the window on a tilt to discover that the right hand hinge detached itself - alarming. I managed to hold the corner and position it such that it was supported. I reported the window at reception the following morning. Otherwise, and overall I was happy with my overnight experience (I do not take breakfast) : good facilities, pleasant service, easy parking access.

My bathroom trash was full from other peoples trash when i got there. They took it out after we asked for ti, but we got no reconciliation for the disgust we we felt. No change to another room. In the morning i called the manager and asked for free breakfast, since the room did not meat the requirements I am paying for, but the request was rejected, with the excuse that the trash had already been taken out and there was nothing else the manager could do about it. I am never going back to this Hotel, because I am not interested in paying for bad room cleanness and customer disregard.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was just ok, room wasn't cleaned properly - there was rubbish under the bed and stains on the wall (that needed to be wiped), not enough towels given on day 2 but once I rang down they delivered them promptly

Was very disappointed arrived around 1 am and ask for a high floor and receive a no. As soon we arrived in the room 134 we saw the sofa bed open (not resquest) and the bathroom full of hair in the bath, floor and sink. The night receptionist was apology for the situation and offer a room on the 3 floor ( interesting if 10 minutes the hotel was full). When you get in the room 312 we saw dirty courtines hair in the floor again and with 4 big spiders. All off this was save with pictures. However the more disappointing part was when we forgot a home cheese from Portugual( expensive by the way)inside of the fridge and we call after 2hour and the answer was nothing left inside of the fridge. I put the cheese inside of the fridge and I'm 200%. The actitude of the person I spoke on the phone was very disappointed.
