« No good experience »

Hotel is far from the terminal; ridiculous that I have to oay as a guest where as all other guests that work in the airline industry do not need to pay. It is a matter of principle an not correct. Also on the arrival of our second stay, the driver was out of the parking lot at the airport and refused to let us in, although he clearly saw us. So we had to wait for 30 min for the next bus.

« Convenient airport hotel »

Overall good for an overnight stay at the airport. There is a shuttle bus from and to the terminal every 30mins from 4am. It is a direct route that lasts 10min. Hotel building seems a bit old but rooms have been refurbished, including the bathrooms. Rooms are quite large. The negative sides are that the rooms are not sound proof so you hear planes and notably guests closing (heavily) their room door. Also heating is very low, there are standalone heaters but they are not enough (we stayed in November and it was 0c at night). Finally I had to claim my welcome drink at check in to the concierge (Silver status) which was a bit odd.

The room was a little small for two grown ups and small toddler. Convenient when you hire car from Green motion. Great with shuttle bus to the airport. Good meal in the restaurant and very friendly staff.

« Convenient hassle free and comfortable accommodation ideal for a early morning flight. »

. Pre Check-in was a waste of time as I was asked all the questions I'd answered online. . Additionally the main point of pre check-in was to speed up arrival check-in with no queuing. As there is no dedicated pre check-in desk, one would still have to queue, or risk embarrassment by pushing forward and interrupting others' check-in process. Note; I did not have to wait as it wasn't busy! . It was difficult to control the temperature of the shower in room 208. . The bathroom door had a VERY loud squeak (this was mentioned to staff at check-out). . The phone alarm was extraordinary loud and went off 10mins early! . The desk, bar and restaurant staff were very pleasant and accommodating.

« Lovely pre flight experience »

Although the car park could do with a few more lights I found a space pretty easily. Pathways to the hotel from the carparks could be better also. Check in was swift and informative. The bedroom was large, clean and comfortable. We had a few drinks in the bar and some food too. We didn't eat in.the restaurant as we had a 9week old baby. Food was nice with good service. The bar girl was very friendly but I didn't catch her name, supplied our 6 year old with colouring and ran after us after we left a jacket in the bar. Good night's sleep with a simple shuttle bus ride to the airport. Very good

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The bed was clean and comfy, the room was clean and smelled nice, the staff were very polite and helpful and the food was really good. The only reason it didn't score a perfect 10 was because the rooms could do with a bit of soundproofing. I know aircraft are very loud but as the hotel is in close proximity to the airport, better soundproofing is required.

Member ID 30…92A5 I booked online way back on 14th July 2019 to avoid disappointment on not getting what I wanted, which was to Park, Sleep and Fly option for my family the night before our family holiday for one week in Cyprus,the cost was £94.05 I used the same website last year for the same option and had no issues. However this time upon arrival on Tuesday 22nd August, whilst I was checking in the Receptionist Ella, informed me there was no space at the hotel car park at the hotel and my booking showed no parking, she said I would have to move my car to another car park outside and pay for it, well it was late 10pm on Tuesday after 3 hours commute and we were due to fly at 9am the following day, I said to Ella there must be a mistake, but she looked on her screen and said there was not, I did not raise my voice or argue with Ella, she could see I was in a state of disbelief as I had 2 young children and was really shocked at this situation I had been put in, I explained I booked the option of Park, sleep and fly because of the children and tight deadline for the flight. Ella apologised and said she could give me details for a third party long stay car park, which would have meant getting my children up at 4am to sort this, I took my family to our room as they were tired and needed sleep for the morning. As I entered my room I got a call from Ella, saying she could see I was stressed and as I had 2 young children, it would be unfair to make me move my car and family that early in the morning, she said I could keep the car at the hotel at an additional cost of £65, I was thinking of my family so agreed to take her up on the offer, although she previously said there was no parking spaces. Can you please investigate my booking ref: HMSLDCHP? to find out why it did not book the parking, I have just used the website again and have been quoted an even cheaper price of £82.65 for Park, Sleep and fly for a family room in November. Something is not right with the website and appart from the stress my family and I endured booking in, I am also £65 out of pocket. Overall the hotel room was good, but I cannot say this for the service and will consider changing my loyalty to your hotel for future bookings. Gary B. and family

The following information i have given to your rwceptionist. We arrived late on Tuesday night 22nd October. Our room was very comfortable except for a few irritating problems.(1) The lights each side of our bed had a faulty light on each side. (2) We suggested a small dish to put used tea bags in. (3) Disappointed that there was no shower cap available with the complimentary shower gel. (4) It would be helpful if there was a small table on both sides of the headboard. I had to place my watch, book and glass of water on the floor. These points I know seem trivial but they would add to the experience. We visit our son and family in Sweden on a regular basis. Have stayed twice with you already this year. We are planning another trip which is not booked yet. On a positive note our bed was very comfortable. Spotless as was the bathroom. With kind regards.
